Ok the sentence is back in - Must be my connection -Kiwipat (talk) 08:47, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited Louis Pohl, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Waimea, Hawaii (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Done Thanks. Dru of Id (talk) 22:16, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi!!

Hi. I am not sure why you titled your message to me as Frederick William Danker or provided an obit that seems to give the correct age at death (born 1920; 91 years old), but the Estabrook obituary used at the Deaths in February 2011 section did not initially provide a year of birth or age. I only noticed Estabrook was 67 years old, not 77, when I checked another reflink (in this case, that of the Catholic Hierarchy website, which provides limited but usually impeccable basic info.)

In general, if there is a discrepancy in the year of birth or age of a decedent, I would Google check to see which reliable sources have reported the death and what the consensus is. If one says one thing but all the others say something else, I would go with the majority. You can always fix it later if it turns out the majority of sources were incorrect. Oh, I see. Sorry. You referenced Estabrook, whose age was misreported at Deaths in February 2011, so I was thinking about the year of birth. The year of death is usually the easiest fact to ascertain. In this case the obit has a simple typo. The only thing you can do about that is contact the website or its administrator and let them know. If the link is included in the Wikipedia article you can make a parenthetical notation (i.e. "Please note that the year of death is incorrectly listed as ****, rather than ****). Hans Kammerlander

Hi. You deleted a previous page on Italian Climber Hans Kammerlander. I didn't write that page nor have I seen it. But, I've created a new page on Kammerlander, and I have tried to carefully establish notability and provide context, and properly reference the article. I don't want to risk starting an edit or delete war, so if you believe the new article isn't right, can we discuss this via talk pages please. Ross-c (talk) 21:38, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Sorry for the confusion - I've answered your note on my talk page.Ross-c (talk) 22:00, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Irene McKinney

Thanks for adding to her page. Maybe we could work on this together? Are you also interested in other Appalachian women authors. I know that Sarah Stierch is trying to put together events for Women's month.--Beth Wellington (talk) 18:05, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for getting back. Irene was active in the fight against mountaintop removal and involved in empowering folks from our region. If from your activity on Wikipedia you know of any users who would be willing to help expand the article, let me know. In the meantime thanks for making it "presentable." --Beth Wellington (talk) 18:32, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

Good! I see you are adding citations; I was about to apply the biographical uncited template as the works cited were slim. I will hold off; Message me when you are done, or go ahead and add a bio box and sectionalize the article. Thanks ! --ProfPolySci45 (talk) 00:11, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

I went ahead and sectionalized it; Nice work on the rest !--ProfPolySci45 (talk) 07:47, 21 February 2012 (UTC)

Leon Panetta question

I just wanted to let you know that I have decided not ti edit Wikipedia anymore so how ever you want to deal with it is fine with me. --Kumioko (talk) 17:07, 21 February 2012 (UTC)

I noticed you made a vote for the Panetta article. As another note, I was the primary maintainer of the Collaboration and as such, in my absence, its unlikely that anyone else will do anything with it (such as promoting the next article, adding more articles for vote, etc.). If you want to improve the article its probably going to be better if you just do it and not wait on the Collaboration. --Kumioko (talk) 15:32, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Editing Mendocino Music Festival

Thank you for your answer about how to edit. If I make my edits offline and put them back into wikipedia, will hitting the preview button as you told me show just the things that have changed, so someone can review the edits? Do I put the edits on the talk page? And does hitting the preview button save them somehow? I sure appreciate your help! (Mendokitties (talk) 18:41, 26 February 2012 (UTC))
