Rider people listed at Redirects for discussion

[edit]

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Rider people. Since you had some involvement with the Rider people redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. signed, Rosguill talk 18:00, 21 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to section

[edit]

FYI: the redirect target of the redirect Rhagomyini you created has no sections, but the redirect is categorized as redirect to section. Killarnee (talk) 18:56, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Killarnee, my bad for this example, I rushed here. I should know a little better the policies of the English Wikipedia regarding redirects. Ellicrum (talk) 19:18, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect categorization

[edit]

Hi, and thanks for the work you've done creating redirects.

You may have already heard of "rcats" – that stands for "redirect categories", which are templates which help describe the kind of redirect. Since you've been creating redirects from taxonomic synonyms, lately, it would be great if you could tag those pages with {{r from alternative scientific name}} when you create them. You can add the text {{r from alternative scientific name}} below the #REDIRECT [[Page name]] text, but an easier way is to use this script, which lets you select the right template from a dropdown menu. Thanks, Cremastra ‹ uc › 14:01, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Cremastra, thank you for your message. Yes, I will be careful next time by including the dedicated categories. As it's something that isn't found on Wiki.fr, it's something that I tend to forget too much. Ellicrum (talk) 22:30, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, and thanks. Cremastra ‹ uc › 22:53, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
