How can I get page reinstated?[edit]

Question. My Author article page was deleted i assume because I linked the business page to it. Which was only done to validate the authors post as being truthful. Mentioning the business was only done so to create full information of the authors history. So do we not mention anything business related even if it is to give truthful information about the author? Remove vandalism[edit]

Hi Fastily,

An IP has blanked portions of Italian Eritrea. Unfortunately, I can't revert it, as doing so would readd blacklisted links. As an administrator online right now, please revert the vandalism. Air on White (talk) 05:15, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I've found a way to restore the page while removing a link to BlogSpot, which is anyway not RS. Air on White (talk) 05:27, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Art Libraries[edit]

File:Guinea-Bissau FF (logo).png[edit]

Hi Fastily. Would you mind taking a look at File:Guinea-Bissau FF (logo).png? It was just updated, but now it seems to be no different than File:Guinea-Bissau FA.png. I sort of asked about this at WT:NFCC#Updating non-free logos, but I'm pretty sure that two files of what appear to be the same logo are needed. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:29, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Marchjuly. Thanks for letting me know, I've reverted the overwritten file. Regards, Fastily 09:27, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request for reconsideration of decision on deleted page User:Mcrossphd/sandbox[edit]

Reference: User:Mcrossphd/sandbox

Dear @Fastily,

I understand your concern about promoting a business, but I'd like to clarify that the page about Ross-Clayton Funeral Home is focused on its historical significance as the oldest funeral home in Montgomery, Alabama, founded in 1918. The page aims to document its history, legacy, and impact on the community, rather than promoting the business itself. Also, there are many similar pages live on Wikipedia with search query "Funeral Home".

To address your concerns, I will make the following changes:

- Emphasized the historical aspects and significance of the funeral home

- Removed any promotional language or content

- Added reliable sources to support the funeral home's notability and historical importance

I believe this page meets Wikipedia's guidelines for notability and verifiability. Please reconsider your decision and allow the page to remain, as it provides valuable information on the history of Montgomery, Alabama.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

@mcrossphd

Question about WP:AUTHOR[edit]

Hey, I hope you are well. I want to get clarification on whether I am right or wrong. If there are two independent reviews available from reliable sources about a book, then does the author pass WP:AUTHOR’s 3rd rule? The reviews are from well known reliable source like The Hindu, Your answer will assist me a lot. Thanks. GrabUp - Talk 10:04, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
