Mike Bickle Article

[edit]

I am relatively new to wikipedia. Thus, I may not be the best at procedure or style. I wanted to let you know that I have left made some comments on the article regarding Mike Bickle. Your comments would be appreciated. StopTheSpin 21:39, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

@Gatorgalen: Thanks for keeping an eye on this article.--Bhuck 07:35, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey dude, if you get a chance, stop by and comment on the discussion going on. Right now there's a decent list of improvements being discussed. If you could respond point-by-point, that'd be best, so we can see immediately what stuff can be done. Thanks a bunch! Nswinton\talk 20:26, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NLCF

[edit]

What would you like for me to explain? NLCF existed before the Virginia Tech massacre. It had nothing to do with the massacre. It, like every other organization on campus, helped people after the massacre, but that doesn't mean that it should be a part of the massacre category. Michael Vick donated $10,000 to the victim's fund, but we don't put him in the category. That just isn't how we categorize things. --B 13:30, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's not what categories are for. Marcus Vick had dinner at McDonald's one night, but we don't put him in Category:McDonald's. Yes, the majority of the article is about the massacre and that's a problem - see WP:NPOV#Undue weight. The article should be about NLCF, not about a single event in school history. The church is inexorably linked to Virginia Tech itself and should be in the Virginia Tech category. It is related to the massacre only inasmuch as every single one of us who ever set foot on campus is related to the massacre. --B 03:42, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In the interest of not carrying on a conversation in two places, I have replied at User talk:B. --B 06:30, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
