Hi GrAfFiT, and welcome to Wikipedia.

Thankyou for finding the time to sign up and contribute to our little project. If you're in doubt about anything, you might want to check out some of these pages:

It's also a good idea to sign the new user log and add a little about yourself.

When contributing to a talk page, you can sign your name by typing four tildes after your comments, like this: ~~~~. Some people do not pay attention to unsigned comments. An important note: Please do not add this signature to encyclopedia articles you may edit, even if you have created them. Wikipedia articles are owned by the community, not by any one person.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me at my talk page, or at the Help desk or Village Pump.

But above all, make sure you be bold when contributing, and have fun!

Inclusionism does not mean including material in a main article that more appropriately belongs in an existing daughter article. Having just those few randomly selected items in the main article made no sense - it all belonged in the daughter article, including the long list of actresses. I've explained this on the article's talk page, and have updated both articles. Tvoz |talk 17:32, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I didn't understand what "other article" you were referring to in your first edit comment. I'll side with this.--GrAfFiTTalk Contribs 17:39, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem - I actually thought your edit summary was funny. Tvoz |talk 17:45, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:SeamusDeane ReadingInTheDark.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:SeamusDeane ReadingInTheDark.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 10:22, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File:800px-Map-Chinese Characters.png needs authorship information.

[edit]
Dear uploader:

The media file you uploaded as File:800px-Map-Chinese Characters.png is missing information as to it's authorship, or if such information is provided it is confusing.

If possible, please add or clarify this information. This will help other editors to make better use of the image, and it will be more informative for readers.

When adding authorship information to self published work please do NOT use describers such as 'I made this', 'own-work' , 'self-made' or personal names, without making your user name explicit.

This is so that media can be more accurately traced, if it is transferred to Wikimedia Commons.

If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:30, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
