Sharissa picture[edit]

Hi I though you should know that the reason I reverted your edit because the image you uploaded was in violation of copyright. Most pictures on the Internet are copyrighted and uploading them to the Wikimedia Commons is not permitted. TornadoLGS (talk) 01:24, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding the photo. It was a copyright violation and has been deleted. TornadoLGS (talk) 01:32, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Who did I steal it from. Who are you? HaterSlayer357 (talk) 02:08, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sir or ma’am. That photo belongs to the artist. Am I missing something? HaterSlayer357 (talk) 02:10, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The photo was not taken off of the internet. HaterSlayer357 (talk) 02:11, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello??? HaterSlayer357 (talk) 02:32, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I think you should know that I own the photo. What is your problem? HaterSlayer357 (talk) 02:32, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

I own the photo. Do you work for Wikipedia? HaterSlayer357 (talk) 02:14, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If I cannot make edits to my information on a page with my name on it and you have all of the control, how can I remove it from the platform? HaterSlayer357 (talk) 02:22, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, first, like all editors, all my editing is volunteer work. Part of that work is to ensure that articles are in-line with Wikipedia's polices and guidelines. I found your edits while patrolling recent edits. I removed the picture from the article and nominated it for deletion on the Wikimedia Commons because it appeared to have been simply downloaded from the Internet, which would make it a copyright violation. More specifically the image appeared to come from the Twitter page of the article's subject, as mentioned when I tagged it for deletion. While you claimed it as your own work when you posted it on the Commons, I've often seen people falsely claim ownership of images to bypass copyright restrictions. I figured that was the case here. I acted on the information that was available to me at the time. This is the first indication I've seen from you that you are the person that article is about. That being the case, you may want to see Wikipedia:About you and the conflict of interest guidelines. It's worth noting that the even as the person the article is about, you do not own the article and your edits will still have to comply with the policy on biographies of living persons.
I also do not appreciate the accusation of bullying that you left on Zoozaz1's talk page. In general you should assume editors are acting in good faith. I reverted edits that appeared to violate policy. This kind of thing happens a lot with new editors. TornadoLGS (talk) 03:12, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I really don’t care what you appreciate ma’am. Apparently, anyone other than myself can make additions & deletions about me. If I saw the same photo on an artist’s “Twitter”, my 1st thought would be it’s the artist or their camp making the update BUT, I’m sure your always right.
Thank you for the good works! ✊🏾 HaterSlayer357 (talk) 03:32, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It’s actually pretty common for fans to make that kind of edit. So that’s what I figured here. In any case, when you uploaded the pic to the Commons a second time, it was someone else who flagged it for deletion. TornadoLGS (talk) 04:04, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Good to know. Thank you for volunteering your time to perform good works!
Appreciate it!! HaterSlayer357 (talk) 04:07, 24 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
