Copyright status of Image:Benedict-XVI.jpg

Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Image:Benedict-XVI.jpg. I cropped the photgraph, changed the background, and modified it, added the popes crest, and the frame. Helpfuluser 00:59, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Unfortunately, that doesn't mean that you own the copyright to the image, which is a derivative work of the original portrait. Videmus Omnia ^Talk 01:01, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
