Tank Mania

[edit]

Hi Invenio, sorry if I was a bit short with the reply on my talk page, I had to suddenly dash out. What I'll do is put Tank Mania on my watchlist and if there is continued vandalism by IP users, I'll semi-protect (regardless of if the proposed deletion is contested or not). Thanks, Marasmusine 09:11, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Regin (malware), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages TCP, UDP and Ping. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Shifting Sands (album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable. No review from AllMusic though this article shows that it was reviewed

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jennica / talk 23:19, 28 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Just because Shifting Sands hasn't been reviewed in AllMusic doesn't make it non-notable. AllMusic isn't the world's reviewing site. It is one reviewing site. I have included AllMusic because it's found on many other album article pages. As to "though this article shows that it was reviewed": Nowhere have I claimed that "Shifting Sands" was reviewed just by including the Album Ratings template! If it satisfies the guidelines, I'm happy to remove the Album Ratings template for AllMusic. There are two ratings for said album on [1], but I'm not sure if the Album Ratings template supports it. Please advise.
Both David Wright and Ian Boddy are respected and well known musicians in the electronic music scene. As you can see from their respective discographies, they have both produced an astonishing amount of work. They are masters in electronic music and Shifting Sands is one of their many albums, but the only one they've worked on together.
The new age electronic music scene is well bedded down in Europe and to some extent in the US as well, but by far not as large as other streams of music (certainly no Madonna). However, musicians and connoisseurs alike wouldn't raise that claim either. Therefore, an article page like this can't be brushed off as non-notable. Albums, though not selling in the millions, are notable to followers of this stream of electronic music. Just because no AllMusic review exists, doesn't automatically make it non-notable. That would be a fallacy.

So from your view would the quoting of a review by someone whose radio show is notable enough to have its own article on WP satisfy to have the page reinstated? invenio tc 10:33, 3 August 2017 (UTC) @Jennica:[reply]
No review or charting info = non-notable per Wikipedia guidelines. Sorry! See WP:NMUSIC. --Jennica / talk 15:05, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Revert

[edit]

Hi, I undid your edit at SendGrid by mistake. I was reverting the previous user's edit, sorry. Have a good day. Est. 2021 (talk · contribs) 19:21, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, but it looks like you took that whole citation out now:
<ref>{{Cite web |last=user |date=2024-05-01 |title=How to setup SMTP email in Wordpress with Sendgrid |url=https://www.websitedesignermn.com/how-to-setup-smtp-email-in-wordpress-with-sendgrid/ |access-date=2024-05-01 |website=Affordable Website Design Services |language=en-US}}</ref>
I only removed the "last=user" part. invenio tc 00:51, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
