Thank you for expanding the article Gondwana. It is something I'd noticed needed doing a long time ago (Talk:Gondwana#Two Gondwanas?) but hadn't the knowledge to do properly myself. Thincat 15:34, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jmeert, I see that you have uploaded some images to Wikipedia which you seem to be the creator of. Image:Kuunga.jpg is missing an appropriate copyright license and is at risk of being deleted. It would be prudent to tag this image in the same manner as you have to the others. Image_use_policy and Image_copyright_tags are useful starting points to help understand Wikipedia's copyright position in relation to images. Let me know if you need any further help. --Cactus.man 10:52, 7 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:580gray.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:580gray.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:
