At the end of your messages you must put your signature by signing with four ~~~~ (just as I have done) or by pressing the button in the editor bar as shown here in the picture. By the way, you don't need to sign edits that you make in the articles themselves as those messages will be deleted. Comic images

[edit]

Your recent comic images are missing a fully completed Fair-use rationale template which is necessary to go along with the non-free licence you added to each image. Unfortunately we don't allow overuse of non-free images in articles per WP:NFCC#3a. In this case it not necessary to show each and every cover in the article Joker (comic book) especially as there is no critical commentary about any of them. They are essentially just decorative. ww2censor (talk) 10:45, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Lovers and Madmen.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Lovers and Madmen.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:47, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A number of things

[edit]

Hello, this is in relation to your editing of articles related to the Joker.

First off, please use edit summaries to explain your edits. When you remove valid content without explanation, it can look like vandalism even if your intent is to help an articles.

Images need to be fully sourced, just listing Google search results is insufficient. The sourcing for comics related images needs both the actual web page you found the image on and the original place it was published. Additionally, please very, very careful when you cut-and-past code from one image page to another. What you have done with {{Non-free comic}} on most of your uploads has wound up with the images being mis-categorized.

Also with images, please do not use them for decoration or image galleries. Both break Wkipedia policy on the use of non-free content. Including a page from a comic as a spot image to repeat information covered by the article text is unacceptable. Having a cover gallery is also unacceptable. Please remember that this is not a fan site or index.

With navigation box templates, please do not add irrelevant items to them as you did with {{Hallucinogens}}. Also, comics related 'boxes are limited to a central topic and articles directly related to it. This means that "Enemies", "Allies", "Locations", etc are limited to those specific to the topic and/or created for it. This means that the following are inappropriate for {{Joker}}:

Also, navboxes do not include links to nonexistent articles either as a link or plain text.

You should also be careful about recreating deleted templates. {{Joker (comics)}} was previously deleted as useless. Your version isn't much better.

While verifiable, web sites such as YouTube, wikias, and Cracked.com are not considered reliable. They are also of little or no use in determining notability. Lack of notability is part of what got Joker venom deleted, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Joker venom. Most of the articles you have created lack any real presentation of actually being notable. For the most part Wikpedia dos not create issue indexes for each and every comic book that exists.

In line with that, we also do not do detailed plot summaries. What you have presented for 10 to 22 page comic stories is excessive.

- J Greb (talk) 16:36, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In most cases, if {{cn}} has ben placed on a point, it needs to be sourced to some thing reliable.
And regarding The Case of the Chemical Syndicate - If you are going for notability of the issue of an anthology comic, write the article about the whole comic and title it appropriately.

Request reason:

I have not caused any vandalism as I know perfectly well what wikipedia considers vandalism, it is my sibling who is vandalising pages as we both share the accounts. All I did was try to create "Joker Venom", and nothing else except for the File:Joker_Venom_Effects.jpg image, the rest of the edits are from my sibling. After reading the block, I have permanently banned him from my account and locked my laptop from him. I will try to create good pages and edits and I promise there will be no more vandalism from my brother or me. Thanks! (Jogoblin (talk) 01:45, 21 July 2012 (UTC))[reply]

You're blocked for abusing multiple accounts; you'll need to address that. While you're at it, WP:BROTHER might be of interest. --jpgordon::==( o ) 03:30, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I read about the sockpuppetry thing on wikipedia and understand what they meant by that. I have never used someone else's accounts even my sibling didn't do it. I only create multiple accounts as with previous experience, I know that something may happen to one of them. I do not try to sneak in and out of wikipedia or do bad edits and as I've said, I've Permanently banned my brother from my laptop so no bad edits can happen. Please unblock me, I promise nothing like this will ever happen again, you can even track my habits(if its possible). (Jogoblin (talk) 11:04, 21 July 2012 (UTC))[reply]

Decline reason:

First of all, your claim that you do not "do bad edits" is questionable. Creating and recreating unsuitable pages is unhelpful, whether done via two different accounts or not. Secondly, you contradict yourself. You say " I have never used someone else's accounts even my sibling didn't do it", but above you said "it is my sibling who is vandalising pages as we both share the accounts". Those can't both be true. Thirdly, can you please explain what you mean by "I know that something may happen to one of [your accounts]"? Do you mean that one or more previous accounts have been blocked? If so, which account(s)? Far from considering unblocking, I think you qualify for being blocked indefinitely, as that is what is normally done to shared accounts. It will help if you can answer the questions I have asked. Request reason:

I won't create bad or unsuitable pages. I know that a virus may attack my computer and possibly one of my wikipedia accounts as my computer is vulnerable. Yes my sibling vandalises pages but he doesn't use other people's accounts, even don't do it so you can block me for other reasons if you have but not for using other people's accounts. The only accounts we use are Jogoblin and Venoumy. Thanks.(Jogoblin (talk) 03:31, 22 July 2012 (UTC))[reply]

Seeing as you say that your computer could have been hacked, I've just extended the duration of this block to indefinite in line with WP:COMPROMISED. Nick-D (talk) 06:33, 22 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
