Neymar

[edit]

He won't sign with Barça until Monday, and he won't join the team until July. Therefore, he is not a Barcelona player. There's no need to make this edit prematurely. There are plenty of editors on Wikipedia who are happy to make the change when it actually happens. Thanks!--Mosmof (talk) 05:26, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited David Harvey (rugby union), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brazilian. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Use of non-free images

[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to a page, specifically Brazil national under-23 football team ‎, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:47, 27 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again Jpfifusa. Please check the licensing of an image before adding it to an article to determine whether it's a non-free image. Not every image you find on Wikipedia is freely licensed; some are non-free content and therefore subject to addition restrictions besides Wikipedia:Image use policy. Each usage of non-free content must comply with Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria: there are 10 crtieria listed in WP:NFCCP. Most of the logos you've been adding to articles about national sports teams are non-free, so there are restrictions placed upon how they are used. Continuously failing to appropriately use non-free images, even after have been advised not to do so, could be seen as disruptive. If you're not sure about the licenseing of an image or whether it can be used, feel free to ask for the opinions of others at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
In addition, the usage of a particular logo (like File:Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (escudo).svg) may have been previously discussed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion, so it's also a good idea to check the file's talk page for a reference to this disucssion. Please do not re-add files to articles where they have been removed as a result of a FFD discusison like you did here. If you disagree with the result of the FFD discussion, discuss your concerns with the administrator who closed the discussion on their user talk page. Continuously ignoring the administrator's decision and simply re-adding the logo might also be seen as disruptive. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:03, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As pointed out above, the non-free usage of File:Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (escudo).svg was discussed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 February 18#File:Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (escudo).svg and the close by administrator Explicit was that the file should only be used in Brazilian Football Confederation. If you would like Explicit to reconsider his decision, then please discuss it with him at User talk:Explicit. Continuing to ignore the result of the FFD discussion by re-adding the article is going to be seen as disruptive editing, which could lead to you be being blocked by an administrator. -- 21:58, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at 2023 Copa América, without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Notice

The article 2010 Grand Prix de Futsal team squads has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The tournament itself is notable but these squad lists appear to be completely unverifiable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
