gravitational waves

[edit]

how are G*M/D^2 of objects 10^18 meters away supposedly detected here when they mathematically should be many orders of magnitude lower than the effect of neptune? can you know how I move my mug from the left of my keyboard to the right of my keyboard from the gravitational effect it has on the gravitational waves detector? not to even mention that that is just the acceleration and if everything gets the same acceleration there is no difference to detect, so it is the tidal force the only thing that can be detected which is many orders of magnitude even lower. how do you guys justify this mathematical disagreement? thanks :D 79.156.41.25 (talk) 04:55, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
