Your draft article[edit]

OK, so, I have moved the proposed article into a user subpage.

It is in User:Marcusagexe/Anything Goes Music Group.

It will need some work on it before making it live, and I can try to help you with that.

Mostly, it will need references to independent reliable sources - see WP:VRS.

Also, you need to be very careful about your conflict of interest, so please read the business FAQ.

Beyond that - please see below with all kinds of advice about how to add references, and format the article. Try to improve it, and ask for help - when you think it might be ready to go live, please do not move it yourself, but ask others to do so.

And I really strongly suggest you take the advice below - and work on some other articles a bit. COI is difficult. If you edit some other stuff, you'll get the hang of things - and there is no deadline. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  22:02, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome and introduction[edit]

Hi, Marcusagexe. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person. You can talk to me right now. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck!  Chzz  ►  22:02, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

References[edit]

Please remember, references to independent reliable sources are the most important thing - it's all about verifiability.

Definitions[edit]

When you're using terms in ways that outsiders might not get (like when you used the term 'bootlegger'), you need to define the term & source the definition so someone new to hip-hop can understand its specialized language.Shearonink (talk) 22:13, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
