Blocked[edit]

You were previously warned about your conflict of interest and your use of Wikipedia for marketing, as MCB Studios (talk · contribs). As you have continued these violations, I have blocked this, your new account, indefinitely. See WP:COI and WP:NOT. --Yamla 20:52, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I wish to once again become a contributing member of Wikipedia; I thought the article in question was valid but apparently not, I apologise

Decline reason:

See Yamla's comment below — Daniel Case (talk) 16:18, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please note that this user was previously warned that these edits were blatantly inappropriate. Near as I can see, all contributions from this account and from the original, MCB Studios (talk · contribs), are conflicts of interest. The user has not given any indication of plans to contribute appropriately. --Yamla (talk) 15:07, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I genuinely wish to become a contributing member to Wikipedia. How can I prove it if you are not willing to unblock me. I understand the reason I was blocked in the first place and won't do it again.

Decline reason:

I do not see any evidence, either at this talk page or that of your sockpuppet, that you would stop posting inappropriate articles if you were unblocked. — FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 20:16, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Look, I genuinely wish to become a contributing member to Wikipedia. I created one article on a wrestling promotion, but understand how it may be considered as marketing or conflict of interest and I apologize for that mistake; I was naive. You say there is no evidence that I will become a contributing member to Wikipedia on my talk page, but what evidence am I supposed to place here on my talk page? All I am asking is for a fair chance to prove that I am genuine in my pledge to become a contributing member. If I knew the article in question would be a conflict of interest then I would have just left it, and will do so if I was unblocked.

Please include a decline or accept reason.

Your request for unblocking has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  • Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
  • Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
  • Click edit this page on that article and scroll down past the message informing you of your block.
  • Copy the source of that article and paste it to the bottom of your talk page under a new top-level heading (like this: = Article title =)
  • Propose some significant and well researched improvements to your article by editing your personal copy of the article.
  • When are you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "{{helpme|your question here}}" to your talk page. Thank you. --  Netsnipe  ►  12:58, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of ScS[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on ScS requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. A tag has been placed on Your Fight Site VOD requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 2A01:4C8:58:C7F5:D847:7BA5:279F:46FE (talk) 12:52, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
