File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:WPHS new campus.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 11:21, 2 May 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:21, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Bob Saget on AFHV.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Bob Saget on AFHV.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Theleftorium 17:14, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your image uploads

[edit]

Hi MegastarLV. Please read Wikipedia:Image use policy before uploading any more images to Wikipedia. When you upload an image you need to specify its copyright status. If you are not the copyright holder then you need to include a fair-use rationale and state what source you got the image from. Thank you, Theleftorium 17:29, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for adding fair-use rationales to your images. I have, however, tagged four of your images for failing the non-free content criteria. These images are File:Bob Saget picture.jpg, File:Bob Saget on AFHV.jpg, File:WPHS Concert Choir (2007-08).jpg, and File:WPHS new campus.jpg. As the criteria states, Wikipedia does not allow non-free images when free images exist or can be created. In this case, we already have a free image of Saget (File:Bob Saget.jpg), and one can easily take a photo of the Winter Park High School main campus (you could do this, for example). Wikipedia strives to use as little non-free images as possible, so please don't upload non-free images when we already have free ones, or when free ones can be created. Bob Saget etc.

[edit]

No, File:Bob Saget on AFHV.jpg should not be kept because because it fails Wikipedia's non-free content criteria (it's very important that you read through this criteria carefully). Since we already have a free image of Saget (File:Bob Saget.jpg), we can't upload any copyrighted images of him. Remember that Wikipedia strives to be a free content encyclopedia, and non-free content should be avoided when possible. In this case the non-free content can be avoided because we already have a free picture of Saget. Theleftorium 15:51, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not readd this image to the article. There is already an image in the article featuring this set. By adding that image you are violating our non-free content criteria, which states: "Multiple items of non-free content are not used if one item can convey equivalent significant information." Please, read through the criteria before making any more edits. Thank you, Theleftorium 19:37, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Password articles

[edit]

Please do not merge large articles such as the Passowrd series without first dicussing it, and gaining a consensus to do so. Also, we do not remove comments/discussions from talk pages except in the case of vandalism. I noticed you removed the discussion on splitting the original article - that's certainly a no-no. As that discussion established the consensus for moving the page, you can't just pretend it didn't exist b ecause you disagree with it. Thanks. - BilCat (talk) 22:31, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Monty Hall.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Monty Hall.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:23, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Gongshowtitle.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
  • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to your talk page.

Replaceable fair use File:Jorge_Ortiz_de_Pinedo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Jorge_Ortiz_de_Pinedo.jpg.

Thank you. feydey (talk) 16:02, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Gongshowtitle.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 09:12, 30 May 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:12, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Monty_Hall.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Monty_Hall.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone.

Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 08:32, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Headline Chasers.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Headline Chasers.jpg.

Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:27, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Mr. Freeze (future).jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Mr. Freeze (future).jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:41, 20 June 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 04:41, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Batman: The Animated Series

[edit]

Regarding the animated image you want:

  1. Start a discussion the change to it on the article's talk page.
  2. Wait for a consensus for the change before reverting to have your way.
  3. Continued mute forcing the image into the infobox is at the least disruptive editing. Continuing to do it can very likely result in you being blocked from editing for a period.

Thank you

Re:Regarding Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo's infobox picture (& Wapner's too)

[edit]

Just because you couldn't find a free photo doesn't mean that one couldn't exist. Both men are still alive and a photo could conceivably be made. Both Pinedo and Wapner will have agents or some form of representation that can be contacted. There's a possibility that they might release a photo for use here. You could also search through Flickr and see if anyone has a photo there of either of them that has a compatible license.

Take a look at the huge number of biography articles about people that don't have pictures. If it really were as easy as just grabbing one off the net and using it, there would hardly be any articles without pictures. Dismas|(talk) 01:44, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It really is not necessary to insert "First Run," etc., in the infoboxes. People can tell the chronological order from looking at the dates. Anything else clutters up the box. Thanks. JTRH (talk) 17:17, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just seeing if there's a way to easily see the items (i.e. Taping locations, original run, etc.). I'm not intending to cause vandalism or anything like that, I'm just testing something out.

Thank you. Aspects (talk) 06:26, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Now You See It

[edit]

I'm not saying the pilot didn't exist. I'm just saying the info on it shouldn't be there since there's no way to verify it in a reliable source — the only way to see the pilot is through tape trades or YouTube, neither of which can be cited. [edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on The Price Is Right (U.S. game show). Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue. In particular the three-revert rule states that making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording and content that gains consensus among editors. If unsuccessful, then do not edit war even if you believe you are right. Post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. If you have an issue with a picture that is changed, begin a discussion on the talk page instead of edit warring. Sottolacqua (talk) 22:38, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hold on a second, you are mistaken. WikiLubber & I are NOT the same person! This is MY personal account, & I am not a sock puppet of another user. I do NOT use my IP address for Wikipedia. I have absolutely no idea what is going on with WikiLubber, nor am I involved in any of his situations. Aside from some first-time mistakes I've made, I do not intend to cause vandalism or any sort of trouble. I use my account for reverting vandalism & improving articles if necessary, so I kindly ask that you please unblock me. Thanks.

Accept reason:

This block has been carefully discussed with HelloAnnyong and others. We are of the opinion that the evidence against you is reasonable, but not at this stage 100% conclusive. So we are prepared to assume good faith that your unblock request is honest and unblock this account. Possibly not all will agree with this, so please note that future edits by you are very likely to be scrutinised by others, in order to make sure that this block request was honestly made. Should further evidence of socking arise in the future, then the likelihood of a permanent block will be high. If you not a sock of WikiLubber, then you should have no worry. I note that you edit summary usage is just over 50%, I would respectfully ask that you try to always use an edit summary, as it shows your reasoning for the edit, thus helping other users understand what your are trying to achieve - thank you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 18:06, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

¿Quién Tiene la Razón?

[edit]

Seriously, dude? Let's be honest here. I had no problems adding "unverified", YET VALID and LEGIT sources here for months. I watch Univision and Telefutura on a daily basis. I bet that you don't watch either channel at all, considering that you think that my "source" isn't enough. Unlike some dopes here that add random airdates of when said telenovelas will finish, I delete them because it's pure speculation and thus unconfirmed. That alone says that I know what I'm doing because I WATCH promos for most telenovelas airiong on Univision/Telefutura first. I will say this again, come back to me once you watch the latest promo for "¿Quién Tiene la Razón?" on Telefutura. That alone will tell you that I know what I'm saying. It will air on September 26, 2011 at 7pm central. If you can't do that, then I'll just keep adding CORRECT and CONFIRMED info, even if you don't like it.

Platinum Star (talk) 14:42, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely not. You need to read through the guidelines before making your edit. The fact that you claim to know because you say you watch the promos won't prove anything to anyone. Continuous addition of unsourced content will be reverted and can lead to a loss of editing privileges. And no, it's not that I don't like it. What I don't like is when people don't follow the policy. Better think twice on that. MegastarLV (talk) 19:49, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Do whatever you want. But don't cry to me once you find out that I was right all along. That image alone says a thousand words, and it's not even a photoshop edit. But then again, you don't watch Telefutura and Univision at all like I do, and that's a fact. I won't waste time editing that article at all.

Pequeños Gigantes

[edit]

You need to THINK AGAIN. I was right that Pequeños Gigantes ended yesterday night, and yet you did not "approve" it because there was no source. Well, guess what? It ended yesterday, and I didn't write it. Also who the **** said that it originated in USA? Nowhere did I say it did. Like I said, "THINK AGAIN", wise guy.

Platinum Star (talk) 15:28, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, you need to stop showing off your immaturity and backtalking . Your false accusation of me not "approving" your edit only shows that you lied because you never made that edit in the first place (look in the revision history). And you know that when you made the runtime edit to "95-100 minutes (USA)", it also shows that you yourself provided that information (yep, somewhere you said it did. Remember, runtime is for the broadcast of where it originally aired). And it's not a matter of crying once I find out the truth of a show's airing, it's about following the rules, which you obviously are not following, putting you at risk of being blocked for this pattern of misbehavior. "Location" parameter in Template:Infobox television.

[edit]

Regarding this edit to Wizards of Waverly Place, I suggest you read Template:Infobox television#Attributes, which says that the "|location=" parameter is for "production location, i.e. where the show is or was shot" but goes on to say "leave blank if same as country of origin above." In the case of Wizards of Waverly Place, because "Hollywood Center Studios Hollywood, California" is in the United States, the field is not used. --AussieLegend (talk) 19:21, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing that out. A massive amount of television articles have this parameter & their taping location is in their country of origin. They should also have the parameter removed from the infobox. MegastarLV (talk) 19:53, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification of the Infobox television "Location" parameter

[edit]

I can see from your previous discussions that you would like to use the "Location" field to more accurately show the location of production.

I'm sure you will be pleased to know that I have changed the template documentation at Template:Infobox television as follows:
Production location, i.e. where the show is or was shot. Leave blank if you only know the country and it's the same as country of origin above.

Other editors might not agree and might choose to revert my change, we shall see. However I am confident that it is now correct and should really help avoiding disputes in the future. Best wishes.  ⊃°HotCrocodile…… + 23:38, 2 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it was really confusing back when the admins first told me. I always used to add the studio locations in that parameter until I was told & then I started following their policy. We'll see for the next few days if the documentation remains as is. If so, I'll kindly re-add the locations.  MegastarLV  (talk)
Great, I look forward to it. Please let me know if any of those edits get reverted. If you get into a discussion with anyone, point out the documentation's current wording:
"Leave blank if you only know the country and it's the same as country of origin above." and if necessary, direct them to the template's talk page where I explain why I changed the wording.
If the wording change gets reverted, I will strongly defend it as making so much more sense now (IMHO). As you know, the old wording was very much open to multiple interpretations. One thing to remember, the documentation at Template:Infobox television isn't official WP policy, it's just a guide to filling out the Infobox, so I'm hoping that I don't encounter much opposition to the change. Fingers crossed.  ⊃°HotCrocodile…… + 03:47, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Univision's Caliente's Killer Tracks music cue

[edit]

Hey, when I was a little teenager I do remember Caliente with Charlie Bravo that it was used by a Killer Track's music cue because I described it on the money and I'm intellegent, so here's the music cue of Caliente:

  • Chica Caliente: New Jack Swing and later Shuffle Bump
  • Video Caliente: Chromatic Sting
  • Live Caliente: Live on Stage
  • Comedy Caliente: Zip & Cindy and later Igor's Comic Capers
  • Caliente Intro: Sock Hop
  • Other Caliente Music: The Way She Walks, Motor City Mover, E.T. Teeny Bopper, Cuban Cuisine, Pica Pica!, Name Dropper and more...

So do you remember Caliente TV series a lot or you don't remember a lot of that? 74.72.39.176 (talk) 11:50, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox television

[edit]

As I indicated in both of the reversions of your edits,[1][2] the opinions of two editors at ANI can not overturn established consensus. In fact the opinions of two editors can not overturn established consensus regardless of where that discussion was conducted. A check through the the Template talk:Infobox television archives shows there is consensus for location to be used exactly as it has been used for a long term. Changing the usage of parameters for a template that is used on 24,269 pages requires a lot more discussion. The ANI discussion that I had to search to find,[3] wasn't even about the template per se. It was about the actions of an editor and, as was rightly pointed out, was a content dispute that shouldn't have been raised at ANI. The discussion that is now archived at Template talk:Infobox television/Archive 13#Clarification of the "Location" parameter isn't even a discussion about changing use of the location parameter. It's essentially just a question of its use, concluded by an announcement that the documentation has been changed. If you want to actually change the use of the parameter you need to actually propose the change on the template's talk page and actually discuss it. As it stands now, there is no consensus to do what the ANI discussion suggested. Making bold changes is fine, but if they're reverted, they need to be discussed as per WP:BRD and while they are, the status quo prevails. --AussieLegend (talk) 06:25, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Manuel Franco (lawyer)

[edit]

Hello, MegastarLV,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Manuel Franco (lawyer) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Manuel Franco (lawyer) .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

List of original programming by Univision Television Studios

[edit]

Apparently, the editor that created this page claims that most of Venevision International's telenovelas "were produced primarly to be aired on Univision and therefore are important for the development of the Univision Studios". There is no source to confirm this (I'm sure it's false), and the content is somewhat misleading because it's supposed to list programs produced by UNIVISION (not Venevision unless both co-produced said programming). If Univision was NOT involved in ANY of those telenovelas listed (except for Eva Luna and El Talisman), then they shouldn't be listed there. Any opinions before I take action? Platinum Star (talk) 18:38, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if they aired on Univision but not produced (or co-produced) by Univision, then they shouldn't be listed. There were telenovelas that were produced by both Venevision & Univision (those should be listed), as well as telenovelas produced by Venevision that aired on Univision but not produced by Univision (those should not be listed).  MegastarLV  (talk) 19:12, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
And I explained that to the editor, yet (s)he insists that they're "important for the development of the Univision Studios". (S)he doesn't realize that Venevision International-produced telenovelas and Univision-produced telenovelas are entirely different. Hey, you might as well add Televisa-produced telenovelas there just because Uni broadcasts them! Just saying... lol. On a serious note, I removed them, yet he restored them, claiming that they're "correct". This looks like ownership of an article. Platinum Star (talk) 20:41, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I was about to tell you about him redirecting the articles to UniMas; unfortunately, I tried reverting it, but it didn't work. Platinum Star (talk) 03:02, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It sure looks like ownership to me. geez...  MegastarLV  (talk) 03:05, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
And yes, I knew it'd be the same user. TeleFutura doesn't change its name until this upcoming Monday.  MegastarLV  (talk) 03:07, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I finally found the time to start improving this article, see the talk page. I hope he doesn't start unnecessary drama by restoring them. Platinum Star (talk) 03:55, 8 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
He restored incorrect info, again. He provides an explanation, stating that Uni requested Venevision to produce telenovelas for their network. Also, since when Carlos Sotomayor is "head" of Uni TV studios? this source makes no mention of it. Also, I want to point out that Univision Studios was launched (which has nothing to do with Venevision at all) in case if Televisa wouldn't supply programming to Uni in the near future. 1 That, and to produce their own prime-time telenovelas. Platinum Star (talk) 20:07, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Early Show lead-in

[edit]

I have changed the lead in for The Early Show from "is" to "was". The edit is not vandalism, as you stated on my talk page and on the article's history page. I had no intent to deliberately destruct the article. I have started a discussion on the article's talk page; Please read it before you respond or change the article. I work in TV News and have pretty decent knowledge of the stuff, and have also fully read the MOS for TV (which mostly deals with first-run shows that can be syndicated.) Further revision without discussion will result in moderator action. Taylor2646 (talk) 07:03, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly, you just messaged me saying that you are flat-out violating WP:MOSTV. If you wish to change this policy, start your discussion in Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Television and wait for a consensus before editing. Plus, your false claims that you work in the television business will not help at all, so why even mention it? And contrary to your "policy" that you ended your message with, further of your revisions before a consensus is reached will result in administrative action.  MegastarLV  (talk) 15:21, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, MegastarLV. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Crime Payz, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Lalo Rodriguez albums

[edit]

Hi – please note that the articles that you have created for these albums show no evidence of notability... simply linking to a track listing and musician credits on AllMusic (which are taken from the album sleeves anyway) aren't evidence that the albums are notable, per WP:NALBUM. Unless you can find any articles or reviews about these albums, or can show that they have charted or obtained gold or platinum certifications, they will probably have to be redirected to the artist's page. Thank you. Richard3120 (talk) 18:38, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm working on it!!! Keep in mind that I have a job and a life. I can't stay on Wikipedia 24/7.  MegastarLV  (talk) 16:56, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I understand... that's why I didn't jump to delete them straight away. I know the artist is famous, so it's likely his albums have sold well and there might be sources about them somewhere. Una Voz Para Escuchar should be redirected to Nuevamente... Lalo though – we don't normally create two separate articles for what is effectively the same album, just because it was re-released under a different name. Richard3120 (talk) 17:14, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I'm still searching for sources and info, so I'm not quite finished yet. And yes, I was thinking about the possibility of merging the articles of reissued albums into those of their original versions (and possibly include the pictures of the reissued albums somewhere in the articles). Will continue updating.  MegastarLV  (talk) 17:21, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Hollywood Squares 1998-2002.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Hollywood Squares 1998-2002.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads-up. That's the same IP vandal I've been dealing with for almost a year now on the same page. The sources he cites are non-existent and come from some type of log-in page that doesn't help at all.  MegastarLV  (talk) 00:32, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Leo Díaz, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Merengue. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
