The article Country Singles (newspaper) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- I am not seeing any real indication of WP:Notability. The documentary is not mentioned on the referenced website, a single court case is cited but no indication of why that is particularly notable.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. noq (talk) 11:19, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, Gab4gab (talk). I'm working to add citations for this article Community High School (Ann Arbor, Michigan). I added one person who seems to qualify under Wikipedia's notability guideline but does not have a pre-existing article — [1]. Can you advise? Mfrphoto (talk) 20:37, 7 November 2021 (UTC)
- Hello again Mfrphoto, I appreciate your efforts to improve the article and I am sorry to keep stepping on your contributions. I just removed a reference you added citing IMDb, which is not considered a reliable source. Here's a helpful link: WP:Reliable sources/Perennial sources. Regarding the notable alumnus - it's not too difficult to write a short biography article if you can locate significant coverage by independent reliable sources. Your source at resources.ca.gov is not independent. It tells us he has a significant role in government but isn't helpful for Wikipedia notability. If you can chase down coverage in newspapers or magazines it might be possible to create an article that will survive review. I'd be happy to give you what advice I can if you'd like to try. Hello. Your recent edit to Community High School (Ann Arbor, Michigan) appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you.
