Yes, ok but more on Hulkenberg and Senna

I would like to say that you are right but once they've settled into F1 we'll remove some of the information like Hamilton or Piquet Jr's article. But for know or at least a year it's fine. Also I'm having a bit of a fallout with BretonBanquet over the (2010 - present) which I think is correct but he/she thinks is incorrect. We'll have a disscussion on Hulkenberg's talk page and if successful it will be implemented. I'm wandering what's your opinion about this. (Wiki id2 (talk) 17:50, 4 January 2010 (UTC))

World Series by Renault

Have a look at the 2010 World Series by Renault season article. What you think? Cs-wolves(talk) 17:04, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

That looks exactly how I would've done it. You know, if we introduce it like that, what chances of Officially Mr X changing it? ;) Cs-wolves(talk) 19:42, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
That lasted all of three minutes! V6 Eurocup was part of the Super Racing Weekend, with European Touring Cars and FIA GTs. Right here. However, the Renault pages do note the merger of the two, so perhaps it needs a mention. Cs-wolves(talk) 20:17, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
2009 one done, so it gives an idea of what it will look like. Cs-wolves(talk) 12:50, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
This site triggered it. I only remembered it when I saw both races were on the Saturday. Cs-wolves(talk) 14:57, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
That site drives me crackers! Just quite poor, very similar to the GP2 Series one but less informative... Cs-wolves(talk) 15:04, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, that one is the one you get the free tickets from. This one is the only one to have some driver details out of the Renault pages. Very basic championship positions though. And yes, I did know that! :) Cs-wolves(talk) 15:30, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

Finnish Touring Car Championship

Hi MotorsportPete93

Thanks for adding the notification about references to my Finnish Touring Car Championship page. I've added a couple of sites that have a bit more information on the series and I'm searching for a few more reliable sources to cite from a Finnish racing contact - basically the Championship isn't on the same scale as most of the other domestic series (I think it's the equivalent of a small club championship here in the UK as far as I can tell).

Anyway, I don't know if you can help me with research on this series or any other motor racing related topics. All help is welcome.

Thanks.

Hmm...interesting. Development freeze indeed. Shall revert. Cs-wolves(talk) 19:40, 19 February 2010 (UTC)

Re:Sauber merge

Honestly, it's only 7:5 in favour of merging, so I'd give it a bit more time before moving it. As for Arrows/Footwork Arrows, and March/Leyton House, I'll propose merging them after the Sauber issue is resolved. If anything, the continuation between these two examples and Sauber-BMW Sauber is even greater, so I imagine they would be merged if it were to be proposed.

Of course, Sod's Law is that Sauber will do something definitive, or even change the name of the team completely, after a decision is taken on merging the article! :P --Midgrid(talk) 00:03, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Also, if there is a merge, then changing existing links from BMW Sauber to Sauber won't be an problem, per WP:NOTBROKEN.--Midgrid(talk) 00:05, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
It's 10:6 now (from what I can make of it) and it doesn't look like anyone else is going to comment, so it's probably worth carrying out the changes now in my opinion. I've created a results table in my sandbox for BMW engine results to be included in the BMW in Formula One article.--Midgrid(talk) 00:28, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
OK, I'm going on holiday on Wednesday, but I can start merging the articles right away myself if that's alright with you?--Midgrid(talk) 19:53, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

Sorry for the delay, I've been more busy than I expected. Unfortunately I'm now back at uni, away from my motorsport books, but I can finish the article at a basic level in the next day or so and and then flesh it out over the summer. I'll let you know when it's created.--Midgrid(talk) 18:03, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

Sorry again, I'm actually very busy at the moment (finals coming up) so I might not be able to finish the article until summer. :( --Midgrid(talk) 19:43, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

Well, that was easy! :P I think I've covered everything in reasonable depth.--Midgrid(talk) 15:26, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Bruno Magalhães. Our verifiability policy requires that all content be cited to a reliable source. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:11, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

Re:Superstars

I knew you were going to point that out! Someone put up an entry list on Ten Tenths with the username "Superstars", so it all went from there. Bad move, I know. Cs-wolves(talk) 18:23, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Very well then! Glad it was only a few errors, haha. Cs-wolves(talk) 18:37, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Ginetta G50 Cup, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.ginettacars.com/championships_range_details.php?id=7. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 21:38, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

The article Bruno Magalhães has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Rettetast (talk) 22:12, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

BMW Sauber

No, BMW Sauber in 2006-2009 should link to BMW in Formula One, as was agreed at Talk:Sauber. The team was not Sauber in those years, it was a works team for BMW. John Anderson (talk) 15:23, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Yes, it was. Read Talk:Sauber, and you'll see. John Anderson (talk) 15:28, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Ralliart

Me again, back after an absence. I tend to disappear occasionally if real life gets in the way.

I've moved the MMSP content to Ralliart, and restored the redirects, although it needs more tidying. I've also put MMSP's name in bold text in the lede, so people understand the redirects better. I also think the Ralliart, inc bit now gets a more proportionate representation within the page, i.e. the success of the aftermarket brand is a consequence of the rallying success, and should therefore follow the motorsport history.

I've also left two sections largely blank. The Dakar Rally is where the company's been most successful, so definitely needs expansion. Also, I think it's important to mention the history of the company in the 1970s. Without Cowan's success in the old Safari Rally and Southern Cross Rally, I suspect MMC might not have been so decisive about dropping open-wheeled circuit racing in favour of specialising in off-road competition, so details of that should probably be included as a background. Those details already appear elsewhere on WP (mostly at Mitsubishi Lancer 1600 GSR, and Andrew Cowan), so it shouldn't take much more to get this into shape.

You are now a Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 00:30, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Prodrive/MINI

The table makes it pretty clear that both Prodrive and MINI are already invovled. Prodrive is listed as the team, MINI as the manufacturer. Prisonermonkeys (talk) 10:48, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Hi MotorsportPete. Sorry for not replying sooner. The template wraps correctly for me (using IE7 on Windows XP). What operating system/browser are you using? DH85868993 (talk) 09:44, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Tune Group requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 23:19, 16 August 2010 (UTC)

I did decline the speedy, but you may wish to improve the article's references. As they are, they're pretty inadequate. Seraphimblade Talk to me 04:22, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Rally Alsace

Hello! The Rallye Alsace-Vosges is part of the French championship. Its full name is "Rallye Alsace-Vosges - Ville d'Epinal", it is based in Epinal, and it is organised by ASACAR.[1] This year it was scheduled for 22-23 May, but it was cancelled for financial reasons.[2][3][4]

The Rallye de France – Alsace, based in Strasbourg, has its first edition this year.[5][6] It will host the 6th round of the French championship.[7]

See also http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rallye_d%27Alsace.

And sorry for my English, if you have questions please don't hesitate to ask. I can find sources in French. --Glopp (talk) 23:59, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi - I've reverted the changes back about nationality. Blomqvist's own site is pretty explicit on the issue - "Nationality: British" and I'm really not comfortable with the idea of overriding what the subject states to be the case without a pretty crystal-clear source.

I can see why it got put in there (Swedish father, etc) but Swedish citizenship is slightly more complicated than might be expected - it's not completely automatic on birth, can be lost through inaction, etc. - and it seems best to just stick with what we can confirm. Stating it as a fact is treading into the muddy waters of original research... Shimgray | talk | 18:11, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
