Your discussion page comments

[edit]

Hi. I took a look at some of your recent comments on other talk pages after I read your generalized complaints about the Wonderbra article. I've noted that you seem to have concerns about Wikipedia in general, but use article discussion pages to voice them.

Article discussion pages are there for editors to collaborate on a specific article. And in general, editors use them to make actionable recommendations or to solicit input for specific improvements. In that spirit, your comments about the Wonderbra article were not particularly helpful, and frankly, a bit insulting to editors who have contributed in good faith.

Another reason you're not getting any traction with other editors is that you are really raising broad concerns about Wikipedia, rather than making specific comments about article content.

There are other discussion boards out there which are more about Wikipedia's governance. You can start here, at the Wikipedia:Community portal. I'll also encourage you to read through these introductory articles, Wikipedia:Introduction, if you haven't already.Mattnad (talk) 06:33, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
