Information icon Hello, I'm GiantSnowman. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Dylan Carreiro, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. The issue is that the content is unreferenced. And FYI the infobox should contain official FIFA stats only. GiantSnowman 17:49, 7 October 2015 (UTC)

NASL

Hi. Thank you for the message and you are correct, I was not aware that club names link to the club articles. I am much more familiar with NFL and NHL templates that link directly to the specific season. This is much more useful in my opinion but the decision has been made. Thanks Dabullzrule (talk) 19:29, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

July 2016

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Dylan Carreiro, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 07:11, 8 July 2016 (UTC)

February 2017

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Dejan Jakovic, without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 07:57, 7 February 2017 (UTC)

Edit summaries

Hi. Please try to provide a summary when you make edits, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. Edit summaries help others to understand the intention of your edit when browsing an article's history.--SaskatchewanSenator (talk) 18:53, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

November 2017

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Adrian Butters, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 11:20, 12 November 2017 (UTC)

March 2018

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Simeon Jackson. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 00:15, 8 March 2018 (UTC)

Autopatrolled granted

Hi QQ2NFLD, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! -- Lofty abyss 19:19, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

Sources needed for Days of the Year pages

You're probably not aware of this change, but Days of the Year pages now require direct sources for additions. For details see the content guideline, the WikiProject Days of the Year style guide or the edit notice on any DOY page. Please do not add new additions to these pages without direct sources as the burden to provide them is on the editor who adds or restores material to these pages. Thank you. L1O and PLSQ teams

Hi QQ2NFLD, I've seen your work on the CPL teams and players and I'm impressed - Amazing job. I just wanted to let you know I've created articles for all of the PLSQ and League1 Ontario teams, past and present, since I've seen that you include those stats in player articles. I added some links to those team articles on a couple of pages you created for players who recently made their debut. Glad to meet another Canadian soccer Wikipedian. Best, RedPatchBoy (talk) 16:39, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

Wonderful! I noticed a couple of new ones this past week, but I didn't realise they had all been done. I had been meaning, ages ago now, to do the rest of them but I put it on the backburner. Thanks a lot, the lower divisions in Canada need a lot of love and this was a big chunk of work that really needed to get done. Cheers, QQ2NFLD (talk) 19:07, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
I had originally just meant to do a couple, but then I started and decided to just do them all. Just an FYI, if you ever link to Aurora, the page is called Aurora FC (Canada) because there is a team in Guatemala with that exact name as well. Best, RedPatchBoy (talk) 22:55, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
Yeah, that's how it often goes haha. And good to know, thanks. Cheers, QQ2NFLD (talk) 13:16, 20 August 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for bios

Thanks for adding the bios on the CSL players, but please do not link Canadian to Canada ([[Canada|Canadian]]). It goes against WP:OVERLINK. Walter Görlitz (talk) 01:12, 28 June 2021 (UTC)

Infobox stats

Please ensure that when you update the stats you also update the date, using ~~~~~. If you have any questions please ask. GiantSnowman 19:22, 29 June 2021 (UTC)
