Hi. I see when you restored 2000-2009 in fashion from a redirect it had a contradict flag (which wasn't there before the redirect). I was wondering if you knew anything about it? Anyway, I couldn't find any contradiction, so I've removed it. If I've missed one, feel free to put it back, and a note on the talk page. -- WORMMЯOW  14:27, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File:Aircon3.png listed for deletion

[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Aircon3.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Quick question

[edit]

Regarding File:Conway 2009 07.png, is it in the Public Domain or licensed under CC-BY-SA (Creative Commons) (as you say 'I release it into the public domain' but then have a CC-BY-SA tag). It's not a massive problem, but it could be a bit confusing. If you could make a choice I can fix it for you. Thanks, Acather96 (talk) 12:41, 25 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Obsoleat image

[edit]

A tag has been placed on File:Prinsess Dianna park (Banbury).JPG, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Irellivent and obsoleat. Replaced by -File:-Orchard Fields Community School.png-.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Banbury images

[edit]

Thank you for uploading free images/media to Wikipedia! As you may know, there is another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In the future, please upload media there instead (see m:Help:Unified login). That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view previous uploads by going to your user contributions on the left and choosing the 'file' namespace from the drop down box (or see [1]). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading! Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:29, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:NOT

[edit]

In particular WP:INDISCRIMINATE. It seems a lot of your contributions to Winter of 2010–2011 in Europe involve adding as much information as possible from newspaper articles when perhaps a summary of the event as a whole would serve wikipedia better. It's great that you are contributing but lets try and make sure the articles provide the bigger picture as opposed to a day by day news report of every single event that is reported in UK newspapers. Best wishes Polyamorph (talk) 21:22, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:Centro EMU at Covenrty a 11.xcf or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
