Welcome

[edit]
Hello, Thelostmachine! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. You may benefit from following some of the links below, which will help you get the most out of Wikipedia. If you have any questions you can ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking or by typing four tildes "~~~~"; this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you are already excited about Wikipedia, you might want to consider being "adopted" by a more experienced editor or joining a WikiProject to collaborate with others in creating and improving articles of your interest. Click here for a directory of all the WikiProjects. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field when making edits to pages. Happy editing!   — Jess· Δ 01:34, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please discuss your changes to Atheism and Atheism and religion on their respective talk pages. - Knight of BAAWA (talk) 03:02, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Atheism. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.   — Jess· Δ 03:11, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Atheism and religion with this edit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Mtking (edits) 03:13, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:51, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

BTW, my welcome above was sincere. I know it can be tough to adjust to editing at first, but it becomes simpler once you get a bit of experience. If you have any questions, feel free to drop by my talk page and I'll do my best to answer them. Good luck, and talk to you soon!   — Jess· Δ 04:20, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I wanted to let you know that I reverted your edit to Decapitated (band). You removed material that was referenced by reliable secondary sources. In the future, if you wish to remove sourced material, it's a good idea to bring it up on the article's talk page, so that it can be discussed. Also, when making edits, please leave an explanation in the edit summary, saying why you made the edits you did (otherwise, who knows why you're making the edit? Do you disagree with it? Think it violates Wikipedia policy? Engaging in vandalism?). Finally, if you remove sourced material, definitely do not mark that as "minor", as that is certainly not a minor edit. Thanks!
