Information icon Hello, I'm GiantSnowman. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Sambou Yatabaré, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GiantSnowman 08:09, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Mali national football team may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Why undo my edit when the reference is already linked on his page (unless LFP.fr, the official site of the league is not reliable for you) in the career stats part? Tuttiseme (talk) 14:51, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

My revert was due to the addition of unsourced international stats. Mattythewhite (talk) 14:54, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

My bad. I, a long time ago, provided sources about his Corsica caps that appeared to have been erased, I will put them back here. Tuttiseme (talk) 14:56, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2013–14 SC Bastia season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lens (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Birth date discrepancy at Jean-François Grimaldi

[edit]

Hello. When you created this article, it looks like you added two different birthdays - 14 August 1988 (in the text), and 14 *July* 1988 (in the infobox)! Which one is correct? Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 09:39, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, after checking it seems it is the July one. I must have written August in a hurry. Thanks for pointing that out! Tuttiseme (talk) 11:54, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
OK, fixed. :-) Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 13:44, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Updating caps and stats

[edit]

Hey. :-)

When you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the timestamps as of when the stats are correct. This is done by updating |pcupdate= (or |club-update=) parameter when updating club appearances and goals, or |ntupdate= (or |nationalteam-update=) when updating national team appearances and goals. The easiest way to do this is to use five tildes, which automatically converts to the current time. For example |club-update=09:38, 28 September 2016 (UTC).

When you update the career statistics please remember that you should also update that timestamp as well to a time when the stats are correct. This is done by manually updating the date above or below the statistics table. By doing this we show when the stats were last updated and it prevents other editors from accidentally updating the stats again.

This is done to show other editors when the stats were last updated and prevent them from accidentally updating the stats again, and also it shows readers that it has been updated.

Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Robby.is.on (talk) 15:59, 5 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
