Hey I am just trying to get our network page on here. I am a statewide radio personality in Kansas. Here is an article to confirm it. http://www.morningsun.net/article/20130728/NEWS/307289949/10011/LIFESTYLE — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chet 58 (talk • contribs) 07:51, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
- First thank you for dropping a line here, we strongly discourage autobiographies here. If you are notable you may wish to find WP:RS that help show that notability and I can help you. It needs to be seperate from your network or affiliates though. I will drop a template on your talk page to help you with the various policies. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 07:53, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
Please see http://espn1007.com/go/audio/?id=1790&t=the-voice-of-kstate-wildcats-wyatt-thompson I dont know how to create a page, remove the companies if you have to. I need help on getting my personal page on here for when people search me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chet 58 (talk • contribs) 08:01, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
- That doesn't really show notability. SOme of the guidelines found here WP:GNG state
- We require "significant coverage" in reliable sources so that we can actually write a whole article, rather than half a paragraph or a definition of that topic. If only a few sentences could be written and supported by sources about the subject, that subject does not qualify for a separate page, but should instead be merged into an article about a larger topic or relevant list.
- We require that all articles rely primarily on "third-party" or "independent sources" so that we can write a fair and balanced article that complies with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and that articles are not advertising a product, service, or organization.
- We require the existence of at least one secondary source so that the article can comply with Wikipedia:No original research's requirement that all articles be based on secondary sources.
- We require multiple sources so that we can write a reasonably balanced article that complies with Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, rather than representing only one author's point of view. This is also why multiple publications by the same person or organization are considered to be a single source for the purpose of complying with the "multiple" requirement.
I understand wanting to have an article but without meeting those requirements at most we would redirect your article to the radio station you represent. A good example is 1 Hell In A Bucket (talk) 08:11, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
About Speedy deletion for 'Kool Homes' page
Rivalogic111 (talk) 08:59, 26 November 2013 (UTC) Hi,
Thank you for reviewing my article. Yes, I am new to Wikipedia and this is the first page I am uploading. I have thoroughly gone through the guidelines before submitting the article, yet it seems there are certain shortcomings in my submission. Could you please help me understand how I can further improve the article to avoid speedy deletion.
Regards, Bhushan

YDP speedy deletions
Please don't tag any more YDP pages for speedy deletion. This isn't because they don't qualify (if it were just one user, I'd delete them heartily): it's because, if I understand rightly, much of the SPI relies on WP:DUCK and other editing patterns, so deleting pages makes it harder for non-admins to judge properly. I've undeleted one page so far and moved it to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/New life88/YDP, I've asked a deleting admin to restore another one, and I think it will be best to keep them around for the SPI. The False Claims Act (31 U.S.C. §§ 3729–3733, also called the "Lincoln Law") is an American federal law that imposes liability on persons and companies (typically federal contractors) who defraud governmental programs. The law includes a "qui tam" provision that allows people who are not affiliated with the government to file actions on behalf of the government (informally called "whistleblowing"). Persons filing under the Act stand to receive a portion (usually about 15–25 percent) of any recovered damages. Claims under the law have typically involved health care, military, or other government spending programs, and dominate the list of largest pharmaceutical settlements. The government has recovered nearly $22 billion under the False Claims Act between 1987 (after the significant 1986 amendments) and 2008.
- I was also basing this off the comments made yesterday by User:Jimwetta that it was an important case people need to know about. you may be able to find it in the deleted history of the talkpage. In my opinion it's a coatrack article and contains outright copies of info such as
- " At Lilly, he quit after “objecting to certain sales tactics that he was informed would help him keep his job, including arranging for certain drugs to be switched on patients without their knowledge,” Dow Jones writes."
- "Wetta received negative evaluations by the company after refusing to participate in the off-label marketing of Seroquel to child and adolescent psychiatrists, primary-care docs and elderly dementia sufferers. Mr. Wetta was eventually let go."
Both are verbatim copies from 2 LIkewise sentence
- "Eli Lilly pleaded guilty to criminal charge of misbranding its antipsychotic Zyprexa and paid a criminal fine of $515 million, the largest ever imposed. The company paid an additional $800 million as part of a civil settlement with states and the federal government"3
I will actually retag it as a copyright vio too because it appears at least 75 percent is direct copies of other's content. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 02:54, 29 November 2013 (UTC)

I am sure you know well enough that edit warring, as you have been doing at James McGibney, can lead to a block. I expect you know also that this applies even if you are convinced that your edits are right. JamesBWatson (talk) 16:43, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- Isn't that why we have pending changes? How does that work, i thought that is why we had that. Seriously I don't mean that confrontationly just want clarification because I'd like to avoid that issue in the future if I wasn't using it correctly and make sure I use the right properly. About Lumbini Eye Institute
Hi There, thanks for dropping by. I think i have provided enough references for my articles not to be deleted from Wikipedia. Another article I noticed you have deleted is Hospital Management Company which still I think is worth an article in Wikipedia. So please consider these things and review my articles. Thanks Ashishlohorung (talk) 17:19, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- I have actually reviewed them. The afd discussion actually discusses the references, the problem I see is that they aren't nec. reliable as per WP:RS. The hospital one I nominated for csd as a promotion, it used the words "our" that sort of thing. I was reviewing a lot of your articles and it appears that most of the surviving ones pass the GNG. If you like you can always submit them through AFC or through your sandbox and have another user look at them. I do this somtimes myself when I'm not sure about a subject I write about. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 17:22, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
Hello, please clarify/justify which phrases are categorized as a fan site. If you feel so please feel free to review and remove them. Because, the page had been reviewed and cleaned up by many users. I am so confused, thank you so much --- L'Oréal Smauritius 'Parce Que Vous Le Valez Bien! 16:04, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- Ok, the concerns I have is the over highlighting of every good thing she has ever done..for example it describes her voice as dainty and attributed to 4 the problem there is that is original research. Another example is "Shraddha is a revelation, catching you unaware with a confident performance. She's electrifying in the sequence when she breaks down after getting to know the true intentions of her lover" now this is sourced but again it's WP:UNDUE and it continues on in the rest of the article. It's important to realize we are writing an encyclopedia and it should be dispassionate and nuetral, this is a perfect example of what the article should be phrased like "she received praise for her performance and Stardust Award for Best Actress. In 2013, she played the protangonist Arohi Keshav Shirke in the romantic musical drama film Aashiqui 2, which emerged as her first commercial success". The other issue I see here is that you seem to have a slight bit of an WP:OWN problem, I realize you are trying to improve the article too so as long as shit doesn't get crazy you should be fine. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 16:19, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- i am so sorry dear, just see other Bollywood actors and actresses article, they seem a lot of original research and also knowing the facts it contain un-encyclopedic word if i can say such as Flop they have successfully pass GA/FA status how come that??? --- L'Oréal Smauritius 'Parce Que Vous Le Valez Bien! 16:58, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- Don't be sorry, 4 years later I'm still learning about this site too. If the article states it is a flop then yes by all means let's use it but it's important to know that substituting in our own thoughts is what makes it original research. You are correct many articles not just related to Indian subjects have that issues too. That's why we tag those pages, it alerts editors who can come in and clean things up. The really bad tags are the deletion ones. A tag otherwise is just like the light on your car dashboard that says check engine ;) Hell In A Bucket (talk) 17:02, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- You haven't got my point till now, i am talking about GA/FA articles that have the similar problems so far, this phrase "Shraddha is a revelation, catching you unaware with a confident performance. She's electrifying in the sequence when she breaks down after getting to know the true intentions of her lover" is a review quotation. --- L'Oréal Smauritius 'Parce Que Vous Le Valez Bien! 18:06, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- I'd have to ask for an example of a few of those articles and have you review 5 if you recall what i said about undue and neutral you will see that this particular article is not within those criteria. I'd like to point out that we don't have to give WP:UNDUE detail to everything that is said about her. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 01:03, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
Hey, there, you probably should do a little more than just remove the birthdate from the lead. Take a look at the infobox. And don't forget the categories. You should be able to establish one of two years in which she was born from the gossipy sources in the infobox, but not the actual date.--Bbb23 (talk) 02:10, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
- I want to but honestly in the interim we need pending changes protection for a while at least. I have a pending request because in reviewing the talk page there are several disturbing issues. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 02:15, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
- I don't follow. Pending changes applies to non-auto-confirmed users. There hasn't been an edit by an IP since November 26. I wouldn't protect the page at all if I were responding to your request at RFPP. There's not enough recent activity to justify it.--Bbb23 (talk) 02:24, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
- The problem as I see it is that when changes are made to improve it they are undone in a series of edits. I guess I misunderstood the pending changes user right..you can just decline it then. when I am off I will attempt to clean up the article but wow is it going to take a while. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 02:26, 1 December 2013 (UTC)

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Darylgolden(talk) 07:06, 2 December 2013 (UTC)

I never answered your question
You are quite right, I didn't, and I hope you can accept my apology for that. When I read your question, I wasn't sure how best to answer it, so I left it for the time being, intending to come back to it when I had more time to think about it, but I then went on to other things, and forgot to come back to it.
Before I say anything else, I should like to emphasise that my message was intended to be a very low-key one, not in any way indicating that I personally disagreed with your edits, but just drawing your attention to the issue of edit warring, lest you find yourself blocked for what were clearly good-faith edits.
Pending changes always seems to me to be in some ways a rather murky and unclear concept, but I have just carefully read the whole of Wikipedia:Pending changes, and it seems to me that in this case there is no doubt or ambiguity.
Firstly, "pending changes" are specifically intended to deal with "vandalism, violations of the biographies of living persons policy, or insertion of content that violates copyright", and while you clearly had reasons to object to the edits you were reverting, they were not blatant vandalism, BLP violations, or copyright infringements.
Secondly, while Wikipedia:Pending changes indicates editors with reviewer rights have the power to decide whether a pending change will be made visible to "the general public" (which evidently means anyone who is not logged in to an account), there is nothing whatever in that page to suggest that reverting of those edits is covered by any different principles than reverting of any other edits. That is, in fact, what logically should be the case, because the three categories of edits that are within the scope of pending changes can all be reverted on sight anyway, and are exempt from the edit warring policy, so no special reverting rights are needed. This means that if you see a pending change which you regard as perfectly OK, obviously you accept it, but if you see one which you don't regard as OK, you have neither more nor less right to revert than you would have had in the case of a normal, non-pending, change. Neither the edit warring policy nor the information page on pending changes says anything to support the view that pending changes are exempt from the edit warring policy. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:39, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
- I appreciate the response and because I am very familiar with how you admin I knew you probably just got sidetracked so no worries there. Thank you for the confirmation of things, it is a little murky but if what I understand is correct no one can see the revisions anyways so there's no harm in allowing another reviewer to review it past three times. I can see how a blanket exemption could be akin to a WheelWar of reviewers if things got out of hand. I just wanted to make sure I understood so I was inline with the guidelines of the user right. The User Formerly Known as Hell In A Bucket (talk) 12:49, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
It is almost always a mistake for me to leave something "to come back to later" if I am not sure how to deal with it, but I can't break myself of the habit. I suffer from attention deficit disorder, and both the initial postponing of the decision and the failure to come back to it are symptoms of that problem. If you are a victim of it again, please feel welcome to come back and politely remind me after a much shorter time than you did this time, because the consciousness that I am unfairly keeping a decent good-faith editor waiting helps to spur me into action. Another thing which helps is to make sure your message arrives while I am drinking a cup of coffee (which you cleverly did this time ) because a bit of caffeine helps me to focus my attention. - I understand I have ADHD, but I use cannabis to help with that lol. The User Formerly Known as Hell In A Bucket (talk) 13:12, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
- I never call it ADHD, because I am one of those who do not have the hyperactivity component, and in fact I have a strong tendency to be hypoactive. (Indeed, a therapist I once spoke to reckoned that only about 20% of ADD sufferers are also hyperactive.) As for cannabis, when I was younger I used it a great deal, but it served to push me to be extremely hypoactive. It is possible that more moderate usage might help me, but for many years now I have not been in contact with any source, and both hypoactivity and attention deficit prevent me from making any concerted effort to find one. Edit warring on Shraddha Kapoor
Hi Hell in a Bucket, I'm not going to template you with an edit warring template, but revert warring over a maintenance tag seems pretty pointless to me. Please stop I'd hate to have to do anything more than this. Thanks, Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 10:45, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
- Have you reviewed why this happened? I left the tag on there until a 3rd party editor came in and [fixed the lead] from my request here 7, which wasn't the one I wrote and he removed the tag. After this the other editor decided he still didn't like it because it wasn't his preferred lead8, followed by 9 at that point in time it was disruptive and technically vandalism as abuse of tags 10. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 10:47, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
- This revert is fair enough, this revert is fair enough because of the rewrite. However reverting this time is less ok because it may be that Smauritius still believed the lead was too short. And yes they should have stated their reasons in the edit summary, but that isn't a reason to continue the edit war. You could (and probably should) have reported Smauritius to WP:ANEW hours ago. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 11:03, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
- This is very frustrating because it wasn't my intent to edit war, discussion was pointless as evidenced on the talkpage. I feel like I'm in a lose lose situation here, I'm tired of people just seeing reverts and thinking edit war. I am not sure what I'm missing overall, maybe it's just my own understanding that is lacking in when it's an edit war and not. I agree an edit war over maintenance tag is dumb, I just looked at the overall context and ongoing situation and thought that it wasn't. I appreciate that you didn't block me because I sure didn't mean for it to get out of hand or be outside of policy, it's important to me that I and others follow policy. - I definitely wasn't going to block you (probably even if you reverted once more), the history of that page today shows that the problem is the other user, but not reverting and taking it to WP:ANEW (for a crystal clear violation of 3RR) would have solved the issue much quicker and not left a messy page history. Anyway, we'll see what happens next. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 11:36, 16 December 2013 (UTC)

Americangoldrush
Jake,
Our page was mistakenly deleted as it was assumed that the page was an attempt to market the company commercially. This was not the intention at all, the intention was to inform the public about our company. Have you seen the listing for Apmex? They are in the same business we are but their page was not deleted.
GE, US Steel, JP Morgan Chase all have informative pages about their companies.
I am requesting the page be re-instated immediately. Any questions feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,

Port Townsend Wooden boat festival
Hello Hell in a bucket, I am very new to Wikipedia and I am NOT very good navigating the internet ( I am better on the ocean ! arghhh !) I wanted to put a new Wikipedia page about the wooden boat festival, which is held every year in Port Townsend. I happen to know the founder of the festival and I have a couple of article proving that he was the founder and other. And also that the first boat festival was in 1977 not 1978 (according to the wooden boat festival website) I saw that you deleted my posting ( I wanted to put a better anyway) so if you need to see proof , I can email you the newspaper articles, I had to do some research and those articles are just not available online, only if you contact the seattle library or the Wooden boat magazine and pay a little fee. Let me know so I can get this clarified. --Boatermasters (talk) 21:14, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
- I can help you with this. Please feel free to email me with any info you may have, there is a link to the left that says "email this user" and I will review, or you can post here on my talkpage. whichever is more easy. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 22:13, 22 January 2014 (UTC)
Dry Erase Paint
I have removed the spam tag from this article as I don't find it overtly promotional. If only one company's product was mentioned, I could see your point, but the article mentions multiple products by multiple manufacturers in a factual, neutral manner. It needs references, to be sure, but that's a different issue. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:40, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

Comment on the change of Virus aircraft article
Dear Sir,
I am contacting you regarding the edit of the Pipistrel Virus page. As you know, I have deleted the paragraph quoting the review of Mr. Bertorelli. I would like you to know that the paragraph quoted is in the interest a person who harbors very negative feelings towards Pipistrel. In the past it has been used several times to post slander and negative information (for which the user has no other proof but his own personal opinion) in several location/media with the purpose to discredit the good name of our company. I ask you to read the entire article: http://www.avweb.com/blogs/insider/AVwebInsider_LSACrash_207337-1.html You will notice that Mr. Bertorelli has in fact chosen the Pipistrel Virus as the "LSA of the year".
I kindly ask you to keep this comment off the Pipistrel Virus page, unless it can be proven with objective crast-test results, not just a letter quoting an opinion of a blog reader. The actual tests for the aircraft: Pipistrel Virus (such as for example 45° Nose-down Drop test to the ground for the Spanish certification - video exists in the archive of our company and can be viewed on demand) have shown no higher risk of head injury because of the wing spar compared to other similar aircraft; in fact, they showed that the roll-cage with the wing spar offers higher protection against protrusions of outside objects such as trees. If you, however, insist of keeping the aforementioned paragraph on the page, I politely request that you include the clarification by the Pipistrel engineer Tine Tomazic also, for the sake of objectivity. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Taja Boscarol Public Relations Manager taja@pipistrel.si

Ice Cream for Breakfast Day
Hi there. Thanks for your note on the page I'm working on. I am a new Wikipedia user and I appreciate your input. Perhaps I was wrong to choose the username that is the same as the page I'm trying to create. I'm not trying to promote this holiday as much as I am trying to establish its origin. It has been reported on several times in the media, but since it didn't have a wikipedia page, I thought I'd make one. Do you have any suggestions on how I can improve the page so that it will meet standards? If the issue is the username, I'm happy to make a new username that reflects my independent status.Icecreamforbreakfastday (talk) 14:28, 31 January 2014 (UTC)Rebecca
- Independent Third Party references showing notability. Remove all use of the word you and remove the instructions how to celebrate. It's fairly easy to modify while still keeping most of your info. Change it to People celebrate by. swing by anytime you have a question. I will leave a template on your page with username instructions, if you aren't married to the Username I'd suggest chaging it cause it will likely ger flagged as promotional. Hotel official logo and images
Dear Hell in a Bucket,
We just noticed that you removed official images that we added, including the logo of the hotel. All of these have been uploaded with applicable licenses via wikicommons. From what we have seen across many other hotel pages, and the wikiproject for hotels, as well as with many other brands, it is normal on wikipedia to add the logo and images of a topic to assist in presenting information to the public. Can you explain why you deleted them?
We also noted that you previously marked the entire page for deletion, though another editor verified that it meets wikipedia standards.
Your explanation appreciated.

- I don't believe in promotional editing. The very nature of your account tells me it's here for one thing, and it's not for building an encyclopedia. just my opinion of course. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 09:15, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for your swift reply. Yes, we are the Communications department of the hotel, so as the only legal owner of the image data we thought it best to make the official logo and images, fully licensed, available for use for the wikipedia and wikicommons projects. It avoids other users uploading unlicensed versions which are then removed, as frequently happens, we have noticed, on other similar pages. I don't believe that any of our edits today are promotional though, we do understand the nature and purpose of wikipedia solely as an encyclopedia, and are simply providing the logo and images, and making minor corrections to incorrect data, in order to improve the accuracy of this page. Would you be so kind as to revert the deletion? — Preceding unsigned comment added by EdsaShangriLaCommunications (talk • contribs) 09:27, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for you quick action, much appreciated. Quick question for our future reference, when you say "Please source using WPLRS," could you explain, or point us in the right direction of what that means, so we understand if there is a better way to upload images in the future? Thanks again.
- It's not the images it's the other changes like floor info that sort, take a look at WP:RS. I screwed up the link. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 09:40, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

Overtagging
You tagged a well-sourced one-sentence stub as Lead missing and Ref improve: neither seems appropriate. You could have added stub or bio-stub, or done the various other bits of cleanup needed (I see you sensibly moved it from a wrong version of the title, thanks). Sure, the article needs to be expanded, but that's what the stub tag is for. It didn't need any more "lead" than it had, and the one source verified the existence and notability of the subject perfectly, sourcing 100% of the content from a totally reliable source. PamD 16:22, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
- I'm sorry you disagree. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 16:41, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
Why did you revert my edit on her page? My edit was per this discussion. It's unfair when all I did was follow the standard procedure used for all articles, including high-quality FA-class ones. --krimuk 90 18:48, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

Today's edits
Hey, woah woah woah, my friend. What r u doing here? I'm patrolling recently created stuff and some of this looks like a bunch of non notable crap. Now how is this vandalism, of u don't mind me asking?
- Because you are blanking content. You need to step back and read WP:DELETION, it will help you immensely because on the outside looking in this is common vandal behavior blanking articles. the only time we do that is when it is a wholly negative unsourced BLP. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 02:41, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

Your comments against me at WP:AN/ANI
I have never socked Wikipedia, Hellbucket. Please stop saying so. Everybody knows that a sock is an alternate account used for a deceptive purpose. All I have done is block evade via raw IP clearly disclosing in each that it was me. It is true I have appealed to several administrators. The one who actually researched my case unblocked me with careful explanation but my case was then mobbed and the unblock was overturned, mainly by a gang of WP:AN/ANI blockaholics. Including Kww who publicly questioned my honesty and another who just said I was an "idiotic troll" (and this last of course went without warning, except to me who was accused of "badgering" when I sharply but civilly responded). Kww without warning falsely blocked me for WP:CANVASSING, which had just made it through an WP:AN/ANI allegation without action because there was no violation. If read WP:CANVASSING and and compare it to what I actually did (at my talkpage) there is no violation. I can't come back via "sock but don't be so blatant" as you say because I respect policy, and that would be against policy. I hope you go back and change your vote. This is Colt on Co5mic. 14:01, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
- To reply to your comment on my talk page, I wasn't requesting Checkuser. I was requesting that the IP be blocked. It isn't obvious to me how he can "always get another IP" unless he is going to libraries and cyber cafes. Robert McClenon (talk) 20:14, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
- There are various ways including editing using phones or tablets. some internet profiles are designed to change ips everytime they log in to their internet. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 08:35, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
DOB
It was already sourced in the early life section; I don't know how it got removed from the other places. It seems over kill to have the DOB in three places anyway. Maybe remove from lead? BollyJeff | talk 18:06, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
- I am looking over those references, which I didn't read lower in the article and I don't see the actual dob..Maybe I'm missing it? I see it says her age but the actual DOB not so much. both should be sourced prob ably. If it's a named source then it's easy automated but the first mention should be sourced as this will be the first you see and it easily shows the ref. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 18:13, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
discussion
I have been discussing in the talk page, please allow us some time, until we come to a solution, I hope you should not get influenced by some editor's lobbying on this. You should be neutral in ur judgment, and check the discussion that is going on in the talk page before warning me and intimidating me Gnyan1 (talk) 17:57, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
- I'm not trying to intimidate you I'm pointing out the breaches in policy. Namely the reverting and teh assumptions of bad faith and threats to disrupt. I will finish reviewing but I'd suggest that you change your approach cause you can still end up being blocked for being right if you aren't doing things the right way. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 18:01, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
international awards
Shaji N. Karun has won three international awards, and B. Narsing Rao has won more than three awards why shouldnt I express the logic behind my insistence on including B narsing rao, If B narsing rao is not listed, shaji n karun should not be listed. Gnyan1 (talk) 18:03, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
international honors and acclaimed film makers
considering the other users opinion, shyam benegal won seven National film awards, that has nothing to do with international honors, He was only nominated for several international awards, but he received only two to three, the same with shaji n karun. if I had to agree to his argument, B narsing rao, shyam benegal and shaji n karun have to be unlisted Gnyan1 (talk) 18:10, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
I am not proving my point, you are simply warning me, the other editor is trying to prove his point based on his logic, I am trying to come to consensus on whom to be listed and whom not, I am eligible to remove and unlist the three directors names, based on the other editors point of view he cited, you are targeting me, instead of allowing us to get consensus. please dont warn me, I will unlist the three names Gnyan1 (talk) 18:15, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
- I'm also requesting a block for disruptive editing. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 18:17, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
- how can u request a disruptive edit block??? when the discussion is not complete?? why ru warning me and getting personal against my edits?? when I am clearly explaining how the consensus be reached Gnyan1 (talk) 18:19, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
- Edit warring, Personal attacks and assumptions of bad faith and as mentioned several times disrupting the encyclopedia to prove a point. Comments such as if I can't list this person then I have to remove all of these others is disruptive. It's obvious you aren't reading it, look at the first paragraph and I'll bold the relevant parts..When one becomes frustrated with the way a policy or guideline is being applied, it may be tempting to try to discredit the rule or interpretation thereof by, in one's view, applying it consistently. Sometimes, this is done simply to prove a point in a local dispute. In other cases, one might try to enforce a rule in a generally unpopular way, with the aim of getting it changed. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 18:23, 4 March 2014 (UTC
if your target is to block a certain user, that is me by hook or crook, without trying to co-ordinate the two users through consensus, then obviously your reasons appear justified. I believe you are influenced by the other user's motives. This under states your aggressive behavior. Gnyan1 (talk) 18:28, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
- The problem is that you are ignoring that you are continuing the battleground. You can't hold me responsible for your actions, I warned you for the 3rr rule, you continued past that warning and then also made threats of disruption if you didn't get your way. YOu then acted on that threat, you may blame me for your edits but clearly I didn't force you to assume bad faith, edit war or remove other information. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 18:32, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

unhatting is not "refactoring"
Sportfan5000 was a participant in the discussion at AN/I and on his own hatted it. I removed nothing that he wrote -- only unghatted a discussion which a principal in a discussion ought not hat in the first place. Cheers. Collect (talk) 19:51, 6 March 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah I noticed it was a rehatting so I rolled it back or thought I had anyways. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 19:51, 6 March 2014 (UTC)
- The problem is Collect's comments are baseless, and detract from what is a simply request to help fix a BLP problem which everyone agrees exists and should be addressed. Collect railed against NSF content, which has zero to do with the edit request, which a simple reading would clear up. So instead of dealing with a straight forward non-controversial request to address a BLP problem, we are switching the focus to entertain Collect's apparent need to disrupt, or otherwise be at the center of concern. The request has languished for 2 days, I don't know if you are an admin yourself, but if you are please take a look at the request and see if you can lend a hand. Sportfan5000 (talk) 21:33, 6 March 2014 (UTC)

- Ha! We likely will have some RfCs soon enough, I was trying to get the uncontroversial edit to address the BLP issues done as everyone claimed it was so important to fix it. Seems the concern is not that great anymore. Sportfan5000 (talk) 00:53, 7 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi, this is Tris and I am addressing a concern. My article on Leonard is not a real person, it is a movie character.
If you delete my pages without further reasoning, I shall contact Wikipedia and address my concern once more. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DivergentTris (talk • contribs) 18:39, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
Here's a tip!
I will give you virtual beer if you don't delete my Leopard-Leonard page. DivergentTris (talk) 18:40, 10 March 2014 (UTC) |
A kitten for you!
This is leonard

- I would suggest reading {{WP:GNG]] and WP:RS. It will help you with our guidelines for inclusion. Hell in a Bucket (talk) 18:50, 10 March 2014 (UTC)

Hey, I had my doubts about that account being a sock of her too. Thanks for the prompt report. :) But the large number of socks she uses is proving to be a huge headache. One persistent vandal she is! -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 13:58, 15 March 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, sadly they seem to be intent on ignoring the WP:STANDARDOFFER. Maybe when they grow up they can come back. When you are one hundred percent certain it is them you can revert using WP:EVADE, like vandalism it will exempt you from 3rr but you have to use it wisely cause if not you can be the one blocked. - Okay, thanks. :) -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 14:03, 15 March 2014 (UTC)
BLPPROD
Someone else dealt with it, but I do not understand why you placed a BLPPROD on this version of an article with 5 clearly relevant sources, at least 3 of which were independent RSs? DGG ( talk ) 04:26, 19 March 2014 (UTC)
