Welcome!

Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, VZEric! Thank you for your contributions. I am Hugsyrup and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{help me}} at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Hugsyrup (talk) 13:12, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Hugsyrup: Thanks for the cookies and the useful links! VZEric (talk) 13:47, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Use of the {{Request edit}} tag

[edit]

Hi VZEric, just for future reference – when you make a requested edit to a page with which you have a conflict of interest, it might be helpful to use the {{Request edit}} feature. Just propose the changes you want to make on the appropriate talk page (like you did to Verizon Media) and add {{Request edit}} to the top of your request. The benefit of doing this is that it your requested edit will automatically be added to Category:Requested edits. This will flag your request to a larger pool of editors that are willing to review edit requests, rather than relying on the limited number of editors who happen to have the article on their watchlist. A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
For being so cooperative with the edit requests and making sure to follow the relevant policies regarding paid editing. You have no idea how many people simply decide that these rules don't apply to them. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:10, 19 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the barnstar! Looking forward to continuing to improve Wikipedia with volunteer editors. VZEric (talk) 18:51, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'd like to say the same. Thank you for being constructive and trying to help your company while respecting the Wikipedia community. We have so many people who try to force advertisements and don't listen to people or the rules. JML1148 (talk | contribs) 10:23, 5 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
