Welcome[edit]

Hello Worldfoodhistory and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! SKay (talk) 07:37, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

May 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Kleuske. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Pilaf, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Kleuske (talk) 08:14, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Pilaf, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Kleuske (talk) 08:35, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Pilaf. Kleuske (talk) 08:44, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Pilaf, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Jesuschristposed (talk) 09:42, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. SKay (talk) 10:11, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for making personal attacks towards other editors. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  GirthSummit (blether) 10:28, 9 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
To be clear, repeatedly accusing other editors, and indeed entire nations of people, of lying, is a clear personal attack. Please take time to read our civility policy. You also need to read out edit warring policy, which you were also in breach of. If you carry on in the same manner after your block expires, you should expect a much longer block. Discuss the content of the article with other interested editors on its talk page, citing reliable sources to back up your assertions - your authority as an Asian historian carries no weight here, we go by what reliable sources say rather than relying on what we ourselves 'know'.
