Comment: Electrical engineers are called "Double-Es", not "electricals". "Electricals" are the things that Double-Es work on (ie. electrical equipment); Electrical redirects to electricity -- 64.229.90.199 (talk) 05:43, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: If this is a name of a notable individual, it shouldn't redirect here as it isn't talked about in the article. I can't find any reliable sources using that as an alternative name. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 17:25, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The individual duck was named Afroduck. For sure not notable enough for a wikipedia article, but still evidence this is what people call Cresteds. Sorry if that caused any confusion. Here is a second article from New Brunswick confirming "Afro duck" is a colloquial name: [1]. Jeremy Jeremus (talk) 17:35, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No worries! That article still seems to refer to a specific duck, and doesn't really show it is a colloquial name. I personally don't think this a a valid redirect, as again, it really refers to an individual duck, not the species as a whole. I'll leave this request open for another couple hours however, and see if anyone else has any opinions. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 17:52, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Declined. A redirect cannot be created unless the target is an existing article. Either you have not specified the target, or the target does not exist. (Automatically declined)
Looks like this was unjustly automatically declined, probably because the IP editor who requested the redirect internally linked the stated reason. Still, the target of redirect exists, so this should not have been declined. --2001:1C06:19C9:400:37AB:A92B:39EF:CA6E (talk) 16:42, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I still don't think it qualifies, it isn't a proper disambiguation. For example, "Athens (Greek)" wouldn't be an appropriate title, but "Athens (Greek city)" would be (though obviously wouldn't be a correct title for other reasons). Just a comment (I'm not the editor who requested the redirect). According to Wiktionary, aether/æther is an alternative spelling of ether. Not a reliable source, but citation examples here. Declined. KFCs → KFC: The title you suggested seems unlikely. Could you provide a source showing that it is a commonly used alternate name?: Plural of the company? Reason: The Southern Lebanon Article does not have a Chehour link. Instead they list Shhur, which has no article. I am not sure but I believe that these are referencing the same place.
Source (if applicable): Pronunciation is the same. Also, the Chehour article contains a map location while the Shhur article does not.
