The result of the discussion was: no consensus on deletion, merge astronomers. – Fayenatic London 21:51, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: delete/merge as we do not categorize people by former country divisions. Marcocapelle (talk) 19:46, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment -- I think the problem is with the name Royal Prussia, rather than "Polish Prussia". I checked two of the articles: one was about a man who lived in Danzig, which was an Imperial free city; I am not sure that it was part of Polish Prussia (or for that matter Ducal Prussia). I would thus suggest that the category needs to be purged before any merger. However as Polish Prussia was part of the King of Poland's domain, I cannot oppose a merger. If "People from ..." has any articles an appropriate merger should be considered rather than deletion. Peterkingiron (talk) 16:08, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Misleading category. These are people who simply share the last name Afshar, not people from the same family. clpo13(talk) 15:24, 24 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
