Nominator's rationale: Only one of these is a cultural depiction of Stewart, the comic boook, and from the description it's likely a one panel cameo. The other two are parodies of Stewart roles from Simpsons episodes. None of these examples are notable on their own and are trivial within the source material. Even if all three were actual cultural depictions the category is too small. If these are non-trivial they can be mentioned in Stewart's article although I suspect they are too trivial to merit mention. Crewman Capote (talk) 23:31, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete In only one of the three articles in this category is the Stewart related role a central part of the subject of the article. In the other two it is extremely passing. However in that one role, it is a character played by Stewart, and not Stewart himself, who is the subject of the allusion.John Pack Lambert (talk) 03:10, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per the above. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 07:20, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Too little content to justify an eponymous category. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 22:41, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

more years
more categories that becomes empty after the above merge
Nominator's rationale: merge year categories to decade categories per WP:SMALLCAT, many year categories only contain one article. Note that a second merge target is in most cases not needed since nearly all articles are still in a (continental) year category. The few exceptions are indeed listed with a second merge target. Marcocapelle (talk) 07:21, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support -- I am relying on an experience nominator to determine that there are no more necessary upmerge targets. Peterkingiron (talk) 15:12, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak support - it makes sense, but we should be very careful not to reduce the level of details further. There is also a fair chance that at some point in the future we would be required to split this again, since Byzantine period is well recorded and technically i can see annual level categories well populated upon sufficient research work.GreyShark (dibra) 11:47, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: delete. Three similar discussions, this and this and this earlier discussion ended in delete, delete and no consensus respectively. This is a new attempt to nominate the categories of the latter discussion (excluding one, about communist parties) to be deleted in accordance with the first two discussions. Please take a look at what is in here, we have for example Public holidays in Estonia, Polygamy in Kazakhstan, Afaqi Khoja revolts (about an event in the 19th century), Crimean Tatars (their entire history), Mir Yeshiva (Belarus) (in the Russian Empire) and Bukhori dialect, just as a random selection. There is very very little that relates to the former Soviet Union, hence it does not make sense to have this under a former Soviet Union umbrella.
Pinging participants of all three previous discussions @Peterkingiron, Rathfelder, Charles Essie, and PanchoS: and @BrownHairedGirl, Koavf, Dimadick, Carlossuarez46, and Johnpacklambert:. Marcocapelle (talk) 05:33, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - These are wholly container categories for categories about successor nations; occasionally lesser polities. If they had some content about USSR generally there might be something to keep. Peterkingiron (talk) 15:08, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Categorization should be based on de facto reality at the time events occured. Thus Category:Religion in the Soviet Union can work for grouping all articles that deal with religion in some way in the Soviet Union, as long as a significatn part of the article discusses such. To refer to the "former Soviet Union" down to the present is just not justified, and to retroactively use this moniker for events in the 19th-century or earlier is even less justified.John Pack Lambert (talk) 03:13, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Only one list. As necessary, the contents can be merged into appropriate parent categories. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 05:28, 13 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
