The result of the discussion was: rename per Oculi following local usage. The articles now follow suit. – Fayenatic London 14:21, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: There is no hyphen in the main article Attorney General and Minister of Justice
Nominator's rationale: To match the main category Category:Attorneys general. We dont need capitalisation.
Sounds like a case for requesting moves for both Attorney General of Fiji and Attorney General and Minister of Justice in the article space. - RevelationDirect (talk)
  • Rename Both as proposed, to follow the main articles. If and when either article is renamed through an RM, by all means speedy rename these categories to match. (Outside of this nomination a separate category for Category:Attorneys general and ministers of justice of Sierra Leone should be created since the title changed in 1978.) - RevelationDirect (talk) 03:22, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, following the main article Attorney general is the best we can do. The fact that a particular office in a particular country is capitalized does not tell much, since that refers to the office, not to the people in that office. Marcocapelle (talk) 05:07, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • We should follow the principle established by the cfd for vice-presidents: presidents is lower-cased and the hyphen follows the local convention. Oculi (talk) 12:39, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
      • I am not against that, but would add "if there is a local English-language convention at all", i.e., in practice, if it is a (partially) English-speaking country. Marcocapelle (talk) 12:45, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Agree in concept as well, and the place to determine that local usage is in the article space where editors are more likely to be familiar with the topic. - RevelationDirect (talk) 22:56, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. I created the category, when the naming conventions were either different, undefined, or perhaps just unknown to me. I would support renaming it to match similar categories. David Cannon (talk) 12:40, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • There seem to be similar issues in Category:Prime ministers by country although most of them are capitalised and none are hyphenated. Rathfelder (talk) 10:47, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: merge to Category:Cultural history of Arkansas. (non-admin closure) JBchrch talk 15:57, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: merge, redundant category layer with only the main article and a subcategory. No other state in the United States has a category like this. Merging to the other parent category is not needed, the article is already in Category:United States state seals. Marcocapelle (talk) 06:03, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Invalid cat in same terms as countries of the UK - Faroes are a part of Denmark, there is no other sovereign state involved Crowsus (talk) 00:34, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per Rathfelder above. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 14:46, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Based on the nom and, after clicking through 5 articles, all seemed active in the Faroes had not moved to mainland Denmark. - RevelationDirect (talk) 22:58, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
