  • Rename per nom. Scratching my head, I can only think of the Dalai Lama as a case where a state would select a child that is not a monarch to rule it, obviously through regents. There are other culture which also select children as religious figures, but I'm not sure there is any other place where they are also invested temporal powers.   • Rename per nom. It is highly improbable that any child would be appointed as a ruler, other than by inheriting the position. As a child, actual rule will be in the hands of a regent(s). This includes Dalai Lama, who is believed to be his predecessor reincarnated. "Child" needs to be judged according to whether they had a regent, as some kings declared themselves of age and began ruling at less than the normal full age. Nominator's rationale: WP:OVERLAPCAT. Poorly named and unmaintained Maintenance category. Petscan shows that a number of "underground" rapid transit systems are missing. Using Category:Rapid transit itself would be better and more complete than only "subway systems".

  • Overlapping categories that are not well populated is a fairly common rationale. Over the past 6+ years, mostly RevelationDirect and I have proposed deleting one or more of these. Oculi always opposes without explaining how s/he is doing maintenance. Perhaps the creator Solomonfromfinland can explain what maintenance is actually done. In the meantime, I'll purge those not specifically about subways.

It is a completely different category (a category of categories) from Category:Rapid transit (a standard topic category), with a completely different structure, as a swift glance at both will demonstrate. William Allen Simpson has a history of bringing these to cfd without attempting to understand them; eg 2021 March 3#Category:Wikipedia categories named after regions. user:BrownHairedGirl, whose sagacious contributions to cfd are sorely missed, supplies a well-reasoned defence at 2020 March 25#Category:Wikipedia categories named after Presidents of Czechoslovakia. There is a discussion at 2012 March 3#Category:Eponymous categories which decided they should be hidden and discusses administrative/project properties.
