Chris is me[edit]

Chris is me (talk · contribs) Well, I've tried this before and got no responses, and I really do feel bad taking without giving (I'm terrible at critiquing editors), but it'd be really nice to get some feedback on who I am as an editor without the stress/taking one word and using it to oppose/getting admin if I'm good-ness of RFA. I've been on Wikipedia for almost 2 years, making a small amount of edits here and there. I love policy-discussion, deletion, and other politics. Er, nothing really to say otherwise. -- Chris is me (u/c/t) 03:48, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews

You have a solid distribution of constructive edits across the various namespaces. You notify editors when reverting vandalism, which is always a good thing. I see an occasional problem with unconventional and/or uncivil edit summaries (e.g., [1] [2]). Also, a couple of your recent pagemoves were reverted; it's probably a good idea to review existing conventions and propose the move on the article's talk page or list the article at WP:RM if in doubt. If you are considering running for adminship in the near future, your current activity level may be too low. Overall I see a steady improvement since your previous RFAs, keep up the good work. --Muchness 23:12, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I (rather unintentionally) went on break for awhile, so it's good to see a review waiting for me! Link 1's edit summary was because I just watched Tiki Bar TV and thought putting leet in an edit summary would brighten up my contribs page. Second one was uncivil, and hopefully a few months off gave me a level head! -- Chris is me (user/review/talk) 19:47, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
(Wow, seems like an RFA already) First, I really like my contributions to MySpace. Some of my early revisions were extremely good (sorry to sound crass) and helped make the prose not sound like it was written by a MySpace user. The best diffs of actual article writing for that article would be this one, this one (although you should ignore the uncivil edit summary, please), and many others. I have also helped write The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail, Conserve School, Belkin, and HughesNet.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Many. User:Pnatt at the article MySpace, User:John4grey at MySpace, User:BaronLarf at Camp Timberlane for Boys, and many others. Unfortunately, many of these conflicts resulted in incivility. More text coming later, I'm unmotivated. -- Chris is me (u/c/t) 05:21, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
