Kingoomieiii (talk · contribs · count) Hi, I'm Kingoomieiii. I've been around for a few years, but recently I've started editing more and more frequently. Basically, I'm just looking for a general review of my editing style, and maybe some pointers. King ♣ Talk 20:40, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
Reviews After all we went through with Spooky I consider it an honor to be the first to review you. The first thing that comes to mind about you is your actual temper, that however was quickly solved and I believe you handled the situation rather well from there on, assisting me nicely with the ANI report and getting him blocked. Looking at the first two paged of your edits you seem to be quite everywhere, from welcoming new users to handling Vandals. Though I am seeing more talk page edits then actual article edits. I'd suggest not just giving your opinion on the article, but also helping to expand other aricles that are relevant to your interests. Overall, you seem well improved from my first encounter with you and I believe you are a fine editor, my friend. --SKATER Speak. 20:22, 17 August 2009 (UTC) Questions
- What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
- Mostly vandalism-related activities. You'll most often find me scrutinizing my watchlist, tracing through contribs, and trying to spot problem editors. Up until a few months ago, I took a hard-lined stance against vandalism (and ran with an incorrect definition), but recently, I've been brushing up on policy, and trying not to bite the newcomers. I've assisted a few people with requests and questions (usually found through talkpage stalking), and it's really satisfying to see you've really helped someone out.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- Yes, I'm no stranger to wikistress. I've got a bit of a temper IRL, and posted some things I'm not proud of. I'm actively trying to stay within policy (specifically AGF, which comes easily, and CIVIL, which can be less-so). In the past, I got myself pulled into a flamewar, and lashed out at the editor who tried to stop it. He and I are on okay terms now (and the other participant in the flamewar is behind an indef block for socking). That was handled poorly. I snap at people occasionally, but nothing like that since. In the future, I hope to handle situations like that with a more level head (and less of a focus on 'winning').
