Lendorien (talk · contribs) I've been on Wikipedia since 2005 with over 3000 edits of various sorts, though a lot of them are in Wikipedia:Cleanup, and on the same pages (I edit in an environment where interent windows may close if left unattended, so tend to save a lot, more than I probably should). I tend to be more of a cleanup editor than one that does hard research. I try to focus or grammar, organization, spelling (which is a weakness, I admit). I struggle with some of the more technical aspects of article editing, (end notes, for example). I figured that having an editor review might be useful, especially if done by a more experianced editor who might have suggestions on how I can improve or focus my skills. Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- This is a hard one. I've done a lot of edits. I created a bunch of pages when I started editing. I also did a rewrite of Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and Timothy Treadwell early on as well. Since I'm more of a spot editor and I've done so many, it's hard to think of a particular one.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- I try to handle conflicts in a mature and professional manner and rarely let myself get emotional about it. If I do, I try to take a step back from the computer and calm down. This isn't a social networking site after all. I haven't really had much conflict with other editors to be honest. I can think of only one real case, and that was someone from outside wikipedia who had a personal bone to pick about the subject of the article Satpal Ram.
