Mr little irish (talk · contribs · count) Would just like to see if i'm useful enough basically It's Me(Speak to me)What have you done? 12:47, 12 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Update - Just updating this for newer reviews. I posted this almost 2 years ago so we need updated information. MrLittleIrish (talk) 10:36, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
I would normally have been fighting vandalism, however not so much these days as I am looking to improve my abilities in the mainspace side of things. I like to get involved in discussions (obviously not heated ones where I may get stressed) so I can learn more about the editors around me and the ever evolving processes.
  2. Have you been in any disputes over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I've not had any disputes so to speak, everybody has dis-agreements however there is a difference between an arguement and a conversation, and some people don't realise that

Reviews

Comment You seem to have done fairly well within the past month or so. Fighting vandalism is much appreciated (going for ROLLBACK?), but I advise more contribs to mainspace edits than talkspace. This can be seen here. Rather commendable, though definitely needs polishing. :| TelCoNaSpVe :| 16:10, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • I already have the rollback, and I don't tend to edit in mainspace because anything that I know is already out there. Mrlittleirish 13:40, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Pretty much my definition of "useful" is: Fights vandalism, doesn't edit war, and knows policies. There is also the good point of you having a sense of humor (which isn't theoretically allowed on Wikipedia anymore). You seem like a good editor. I would really suggest using Twinkle to beef up your edit count. Most people claim to not go by edit count but really decide how experienced someone is by their time and by their edits. If you don't already you should use Huggle or Igloo. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1234r00t (talkcontribs)
Actually Huggle is a seperate program that you download onto your computer. In fact Huggle uses certain components of Internet Explorer to run. You can download it here. The Thing // Talk // Contribs 13:51, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In recent times I saw your name around so thought of leaving a review.

I'd like to say that you are new (just little new as you are experinced a lot) and are active in RfAs which is great. Just take care that you don't end up in increasing opponents and badgering people. Your anti-vandal work is really nice. Also, your comments in discussions are good and helpful also.

My only concern is that you are reducing your article space edits. Not many editors are good at it. You are an interractive user and I like it too. But 47% edits on Talk page is little odd. You have only 800+ edits and you have really developed a lot and have scope to go far in the community but not with this tempo. Article space edits are the only problem I see in you otherwise a good and understanding editor.

Overall, a you are a pretty good editor! Yasht101 15:10, 26 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think maybe you shouldn't jump on every ANI discussion. This contribution, for instance, is fine, but coming from an editor with 1,000 edits I think it will not (always) be taken seriously. Now, don't go saying that I said "Drmies is not taking me seriously" because I didn't say that; what I am saying is that comments like that (in response to a notification, not a question, based on technical evidence you nor I have access to) makes you sound a bit eager. In general, I think you're doing fine, but there are no brownie points for agreeing. Good luck, Drmies (talk) 03:36, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
