Pattav2 (talk · contribs · count) My name is Patrick Harding, I am currently a secondary school student in the Australian Army Cadets, in my spare time I edit wikipedia. I would like to be reviewed so I can see what I can do to become an admin one day. Pattav2 (talk) 04:58, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Questions
- What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
- My primary contributions would mainly be to many motorsport articles. I also do edit the odd cricket or Australian rules football article. I also try and expand on stub pages of those categories I primarily edit.
- Have you been in any disputes over editing in the past (please note that this does not refer to (edit conflict)) or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- It is rare that I encounter edit conflicts. Sometimes I just accept what they have said as sometimes I realise I was wrong. I do not argue about it nor cause harm to the person that has corrected me.
Reviews
- You still have quite some time to go before you can make it as an administrator. You seem to be good at article improvements, maintenance and other content related fields but you need to start working on admin tasks like fighting vandalism, or deletion debates. A general rule of thumb is to have a minimum of 5,000 edits before you will pass at RFA. Just keep working and find a specific skill that you do real well and before you know it you might be ready.
