I am nominating this for featured list because it is a comprehensive listing of Attorneys General of West Virginia, with an adequate introduction that provides history and context to the state office. Comment – Users should not add a second featured list nomination until the first has gained substantial support and reviewers' concerns have been substantially addressed. FrB.TG, I was under the impression that users could submit a maximum of two nominations, no matter their level of support. Is this a recent change to the Featured List bylaws?   • This reveals that there is a link which redirects back to the page.
  • I was unable to find such a link in the article's prose. Could it be that the "Attorneys General of West Virginia" at the bottom of the article is the culprit, as its title wiki-links to this page. -- West Virginian (talk) 23:42, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Shouldn't state constitutional officer, governor, secretary of state and commissioner of agriculture be capitalized since they're titles?
  • Same for attorney general throughout the lead.
  • Per the guidance above, the first usage is a proper noun "Attorney General of West Virginia," but the following usages of the attorney general are used as a common noun. -- West Virginian (talk) 15:28, 25 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • The attorney general represents the state in all claims processed by the Court of Claims, prosecutes civil actions as prescribed by law, enforces the state consumer, antitrust, and preneed burial statutes, enforces the West Virginia Human Rights Act and the West Virginia Fair Housing Act.[2] The attorney general is also an ex officio member of the Board of Public Works, Council of Finance and Administration, Public Land Corporation, West Virginia Housing Fund, West Virginia Sheriff’s Bureau, Department of Public Safety Retirement Board, Bid Suspension Review Board, State Building Commission, Commission on Charitable Contributions, Women’s Commission, Multistate Tax Compact Advisory Committee, Records Management, and Preservation Advisory Committee. A lot of these should be linked.

  • I wiki-linked United States Court of Claims following your initial review. I've also since wiki-linked antitrust. Unfortunately, the Women's Commission referenced here is for West Virginia, and does not correspond to the Women's Refugee Commission.   • This is a table of other high offices held by attorney generals. This is obvious.

  • ref #1: Remove Office of the West Virginia Attorney General website as the website. Office of the West Virginia Attorney General as the publisher is enough.
  • Same with ref #13.

  • For the first table in List of Attorneys General, you could make the Attorney General, Party and County of residence columns sortable.
  • I know there are some different views on redlinks, but why are there so many in the table?
  • Remove the note concerning †, it's not being used (unless I'm going blind)
  • Can you explain what G and H stand for in the table?

  • Azealia911, first and foremost, thank you for taking the time to engage in this review. Your time and feedback are greatly appreciated! I've made the Attorney General, Party and County of residence columns sortable, and I reformatted the attorney general names so that they can be alphabetized by their surnames. I've also de-linked the red links in the list. As I have time, I am creating new articles for each of the red links as I had done with Edwin Maxwell, Thayer Melvin, Robert White, and currently Joseph Sprigg (in work in my sandbox). In the meantime, I have de-linked these names so that they are not red links. As for the "†" sign, it is located adjacent to the "G" in the Governor column next to William C. Marland, since he resigned as attorney general to run for governor. The idea to place G and H in each column for Governor and U.S. House member came from List of Governors of West Virginia, which is a featured list. I included H for the U.S. House of Representatives, since no attorney general was ever elected to the U.S. Senate, but two were elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. Please let me know if I have sufficiently addressed your concerns, or if you see any other areas that need editing or clarification.
