Since the original film in this screenshot is in the public domain, this frame with copyrighted additions is useless. Beerest355 Talk 00:35, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete,
I agree that this should be deleted, but why do we think the film is in the public domain? The article does not say so, and it was made in 1940.Nevermind, it's in the Internet Archive, that's fine. Any original screenshot will do to replace this. – Quadell (talk) 17:19, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A singularly preposterous PD assertion. There's not the slightest reason to believe that a publicity photo of an actress with, at that time, no credits beyond a pair of minor British TV roles was published in the US before 1978, and the cited source for the photo provides exactly no evidence to support the claim. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 01:40, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- I think this nomination has been worded in a needlessly inflammatory way. But I agree that this image was most likely first published outside the U.S., and nothing in the source page leads me to think otherwise. As such, it should still be under copyright, sadly. – Quadell (talk) 19:55, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment it says it replaces a heavily used image, so converting this to be a redirect should solve the problem this is attempting to solve. -- 76.65.128.222 (talk) 04:26, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No OTRS permission will be coming, or it will be fraudulent: this is a WP:SOCK of User:JohnnyOrgseed (who may not even be the master account) who regularly uploads non-free photos under incorrect or spurious licenses. Qwyrxian (talk) 22:36, 6 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- In fact, every image uploaded by the user should be deleted; most of the images he uploads are Getty images or from other very clearly non-free sources; one is tagged as from last.fm (File:Waed Bakr Younis.jpg),
