This image has the Tovkhosh Mountains labelled as "Tabhata Uul". I've seen this name in a few places, but not in any reliable sources so far (no idea where it comes from). In any case, we want to use the mongolian name here as per WP:MON. The contradiction means that this file isn't really useful for the encyclopedia. Comment: Ah, the name "Tobhata" seems to originate from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (accessible eg. here). Looking through their other entries, many of their names are completely irrecognizable, like our example. Those I can recognize tend to be in a spelling that may have been used in 19th century sources. As tempting as it may seem, that's definitively not what we want to use (might be very useful for coordinates, though). WP:MON mandates to transcribe the mongolian names, except for highly published deviating spellings like Ulan Bator. --Latebird (talk) 11:16, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: That's why we have coordinates in articles, so anyone can find the places in their favourite mapping service (Google Earth happens to already use the correct name, btw.). There's now also a caption with the unannotated image in the article explaining the location. But I'm not against annotated images in general if anyone really wants them, just against incorrect names.
