Unencyclopedic. Portrait of the "King" of a non-notable "micronation", (articles deleted at Kingdom of Catan and Republic of Catan and various sandboxes), and associated flags and crests JohnCD (talk) 08:15, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- Delete: Articles were deleted as 'blatant hoax'. These illustrations should therefore be treated similarly (In fact they should have been speedy deleted). DieSwartzPunkt (talk) 13:22, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
- Delete All per WP:NOTMADEUP -- for the same reasons I gave at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Johnatmicronews/sandbox1. — CactusWriter (talk) 14:32, 18 May 2015 (UTC)

CV RenderBlender (talk) 19:33, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- @RenderBlender: Care to elaborate on why you think it should be deleted? If CV stands for Copyright Violation like I think it does then you may want to look at the image page, it is noted and explained who holds the rights as well as explains that there is no alternative and it is accepted under fair use under US Copyright Law. And after all of that rambaling, I am probably wrong on what CV means...--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 19:44, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- Keep the file meets all fair-use criteria per WP:NFCCP.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 20:01, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
@Ditto51: I am assisting Melissa Knight - who represents the copyright holder Marvel. This image was taken from a video from Method Studios - who was contacted by Marvel to have all images and video removed due to copyright infringement. This image is not fair use. RenderBlender (talk) 21:07, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- Whether or not that is case, we already know the file has a copyright and has been tagged accordingly in the licensing section. The fair-use rationale is presented because the file has a copyright.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 21:14, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- Keep meets all fair-use criteria per WP:NFCCP in regards to tagging the image with a fair use rationale, and for its inclusion in the article, where it provides visual commentary to text in said article. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 21:30, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- Keep per above. Just because the original is taken down, does not mean it effects our use of it, especially since it had been appropriately tagged with the correct fair-use rationale.--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 06:41, 14 May 2015 (UTC)
- Keep. The legal definition of fair use, and Wikipedia's more strict application of that ideal in the non-free content policy, do not require the copyright holder's permission to use an image. In fact, that's sort of the point - if permission is granted, it is usually accompanied by a release to a free license. The use of a web-resolution image in this article seems to me to meet our non-free content criteria including #2, which is often relevant in cases like this, since the image use does not compete with any for-profit use of the intellectual material. - File:NewYorkRangers1940s.png (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Fuzzy510 (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
One rationale is literally "used to illustrate" which clearly violates WP:NFCC #8. Old logo for a sports team, not used to identify the team as claimed in the other rationale. (ESkog)(Talk) 19:52, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- Keep Doesn't clearly violate #8. Removing it would be detrimental to the full understanding of the franchise. The changes in logos of sports teams are a major aspect of the subject. -DJSasso (talk) 20:54, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- Delete, decorative fair use. Removal would not be detrimental to readers' understanding of the article. Stifle (talk) 13:23, 19 May 2015 (UTC)

- File:Anaheim Ducks logo.svg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Opertinicy (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
Out-of-date rationale no longer applies. This image is no longer used in the infobox as it has been replaced by a new logo. Fails WP:NFCC #8. (ESkog)(Talk) 19:53, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- Keep The rational is not out of date, it still identifies the team at a point in time. A major aspect of the history and its removal would be detrimental to the understanding of the topic. -DJSasso (talk) 20:55, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- From the boilerplate rationale: The image is placed in the infobox at the top of the article discussing Anaheim Ducks, a subject of public interest. The significance of the logo is to help the reader identify the organization. The image is not, in fact, placed in the infobox at the top of the article. There is a non-free image already being used to help the reader identify the organization. This usage is excessive and unnecessary. (ESkog)(Talk) 21:58, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- No longer mentions infobox. -DJSasso (talk) 14:26, 14 May 2015 (UTC)

- File:ColoradoRockiesHockey.png (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Fuzzy510 (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
Inaccurate rationale; not used to identify New Jersey Devils. Image fails WP:NFCC #3 and #8 and is used decoratively. (ESkog)(Talk) 19:56, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- Delete Decorative at New Jersey Devils, and is a duplicate of File:Colorado Rockies (NHL) logo.svg. --Hammersoft (talk) 20:05, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- Keep I can see the image being replaced by the svg version put it is clearly not inaccurate, the New Jersey Devils are the Colorado Rockies. -DJSasso (talk) 20:56, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- It is not a question of accuracy. If someone needs to see the Rockies' logo, they can go to the article. It's redundant and unnecessary here. --Hammersoft (talk) 21:41, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
- It's not that the image is inaccurate, but the rationale is. The purpose of "identification" is so that the reader sees the image and thinks, "Oh, yes, this is the article I intended to reach." An old logo does not meet that rationale. (ESkog)(Talk) 22:00, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

- File:MagicISO Icon.png (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by TheHoax (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
Used in MagicISO under a claim of fair use as the logo for MagicISO. But this is just the standard Windows CD icon, not a logo for the product or company or anything. If you have a MagicISO virtual disk, it uses this icon only because it's the Windows CD icon. The app itself actually uses a different icon - it's the CD with a hand under it. This icon is possibly PD-ineligible (I don't think it is, but just speculating) and even if it is, it doesn't matter - it's not a suitable icon for MagicISO and it is redundant to better icons at Commons:Category:Optical disc icons.
