The result of the discussion was: delete. There was an insufficient argument made that the use of this image was justified in accordance to WP:NFCC, particularly point 8. Those in favor did not properly argue how the omission of this image would be detrimental to the understanding of the article. — ξxplicit 04:42, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

File:Spy-Fi artwork.jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Taeyebaar (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

Image is a copyrighted film poster being used as the primary means of identification for a genre of film, and not the specific film itself. Lacks contextual significance and is decorative. Fails WP:NFCC#8 Whpq (talk) 15:11, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

No this is a CD cover, not a film poster. The CD cover paints an image of the subgenre as a whole I never used fan films because it originates in professional works, not with the fans. I never uploaded the audio tracks, just a cover art to identity the subgenre. If I uploaded any spy-fi movie poster, it would be only that film. This image shows the subgenre as a whole, not any particular film.--Taeyebaar (talk) 14:01, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep per Taeyebaar. The image is used to illustrate a subgenre. The image is not a movie poster and it is not being used to identify any film. Caden cool 21:39, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
    • Apologies for mixing up a film poster / CD cover but that doesn't affect the deletion nomination rationale. As for your explanation, simply using the "image is used to illustrate a subgenre" indicates that that is is being used decoratively as borne out by the lack of sourced commentary about the image. -- Whpq (talk) 04:53, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Fails WP:NFCCP#8 ("Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the article topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding.")  ★  Bigr Tex 02:43, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

File:Associação Académico 83 do Porto Inglês (logo).jpg (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Mardilucia (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

Historic logo of Académico 83 do Porto Inglês, claimed as {{GFDL-self}}. If uploader is copyright holder, then image should go through WP:IOWN process; Otherwise, it's a non-free logo being used in a gallery without critical commentary and should be deleted under WP:NFCCP#8.  ★  Bigr Tex 22:24, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

File:A83 New logo.png (delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Mardilucia (notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).

Current logo of Académico 83 do Porto Inglês, claimed as {{GFDL-self}}. If uploader is copyright holder, then image should go through WP:IOWN process; Otherwise, it's a non-free logo and will need an updated license and a rationale and should only be used in the infobox of the main article about the club.  ★  Bigr Tex 22:24, 15 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
