Mangoeater1000 (talk · contribs · block log · arb · SPI confirmed suspected) was a vandal who moved pages to inappropriate names. After getting indefinitely blocked for fourth-offense sockpuppetry, he continued to sock, creating 421 confirmed sockpuppets, as well as 25 suspected ones, including three confirmed sock puppets of Notable Sweety and the account itself. Occasionally, during high-volume sockpuppetry periods, some of his accounts have been blocked without tagging, meaning that the actual number is higher. His contributions typically focus on tendentious editing regarding NYU Poly (promoting it or trying to assert greater notability than it actually has) and Cal Poly Pomona (attempting to lower the quality of its coverage on Wikipedia). He focuses on university alumni, achievements, awards, endowments, and rankings. To date, this has led to numerous /16 rangeblocks, the long-term full-protection of at least two articles, and an unsuccessful proposal to implement Pending Changes level-2 protection on some of the articles he targets.

Eventually, his editing habits spread to articles relating to Islam, Iran and its people, Israel, Jews and professional wrestling.

While his usernames occasionally reference NYU Poly or Cal Poly Pomona (Calpolylolli, Polyalum1), or consist of attempted impersonation or harassment of his perceived enemies (72Jino and 72nino for 72Dino (who has retired); Rejected by NYU?), more often they're distinguished by having absolutely no distinguishing characteristics at all, frequently seeming to be random combinations of characters (Njboc, Pajiji, Zzym, Lljjp) or compound words (Duetthus, Pearstoxin, Operaurine, Hardchef).

When he takes on a persona, it tends to be an individual of Hispanic descent (he's signed his name as "Pablo" with his main account), affiliated with NYU Poly in some way. On some occasions he claims he is Jewish, and seemingly holds the views of the ultra-orthodox. In addition, he gains credibility and perhaps autoconfirmed status by editing elsewhere first, frequently in India-related topics. (A number of the articles he targets are semi-protected, and the accounts and IPs are well aware of how to use edit requests on talk pages.) However, his claims are largely inconsistent, as is his demeanor with other editors, often going from trolling to trying to get himself unblocked in the space of a few minutes, from the same account. He makes personal attacks, and typically accuses other editors of having conflicts of interest with Cal Poly Pomona. His unblock requests normally strike a conciliatory tone, painting himself as a constructive contributor and accusing the users he dislikes of much of the same behavior that he gets blocked for. He tends to downplay, or flat-out deny or ignore, evidence of his own disruption, which has ultimately led to talkpage-access-revocation on his main account and numerous socks.

The implementation of the extended confirmed user right and the protection level may temporarily help prevent disruption from its sock puppet accounts.
