Event information

[edit]

The edit-a-thon will be held at the University of Nebraska-Omaha (UNO)'s Criss Library, 6001 Dodge Street, Room 232 on the 2nd floor, on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm CDT. The purpose of the event is to address the underrepresentation of notable UNO women in Wikipedia.

An edit-a-thon is a time for new & experienced Wikipedians to edit Wikipedia pages around a single topic. We’ll focus on UNO women’s history! Sign up at http://bit.ly/1LwOzVk to help us plan for enough food & drink. Training and source material will be provided, you just need to sign-up and come to Criss Library! Stay for an hour, stay for the full event! It’s up to you!

You are welcome to drop-in for an hour or four hours to work on articles. No prior experience editing Wikipedia is required.

This event is open to the public. We will contact non-UNO attendees regarding arrangements for parking.
