Most of these use Commons templates such as {{original description page}} with seemingly nonsense content. There are also texts such as "From www.ugarsugar.com transfer was made by User:Renuka hatti." which also are associated with Wikipedia-to-Commons transfers, sourced to various different websites. One of the websites, en.kwizy.org, seems to be a Wikipedia mirror. Wikipedia content is typically free to use, but you must usually attribute the author, so if this is unattributed Wikipedia content, then it is a copyright violation. There is no indication that the other websites host free content. One file (File:Athani sugar factory.jpg) is a duplicate of File:Athani factory.jpg with an obviously bogus {{PD-old-100}} copyright tag. --Stefan2 (talk) 13:12, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This one is sourced to Wikimapia. Isn't Wikimapia content available under a free licence of some kind? You probably need to attribute the author, though, and I can't find out who the author is. --Stefan2 (talk) 13:12, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Update: The uploader has now removed the {{puf}} template and added {{GFDL-self}} to some or all of the files. However, the other information provided on the file information pages suggest that the files aren't own works at all. --Stefan2 (talk) 17:26, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimapia, is a site that uses Google Imagery as a base layer.. I wouldn't recomend relying it on as a source without making further checks...ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 21:28, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Also the problem that Drew Peterson was actually arrested in May 2009, not 2008. Possibly this was taken when he was interviewed but not arrested, but the file name suggests he was arrested in 2008 when this is not the case (and indeed this is how the photo was captioned at enWiki). Nothing about this photo (or Peterson) is currently found on the Will County Sheriff's Web site to clarify the photo's history. Dwpaul ^Talk 01:52, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
