Rather implausible typo. One hit in the past 30 days. Thegreatluigi (talk) 18:38, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Delete - Unlike, say, 'Matt Groning' and other typo-related redirects, I agree that this is implausible and not worth keeping. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 15:09, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Matt Groaning is the most likely typo as someone's best guess of sounding his last name out. Also Matt Graining "like complaining" is the way Matt used to tell people how to pronounce his last name. [1] Also Matt Grayning [2] AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 02:44, 2 March 2018 (UTC)

- 2018 World Tour → 2018 Beach Boys World Tour (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Redirect created by moving page to 2018 Beach Boys World Tour. This page title is way too ambiguous to be a useful redirect. TheLongTone (talk) 14:51, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Delete - agreed, hopelessly vague. Possibly useful as a set index if someone wants to create one, so also delete per WP:REDLINK. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 16:07, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Delete per nom and housekeeping. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 23:40, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Weak retarget to Category:2018 concert tours, or delete. Weak because WP:XNRs are somewhat controversial. feminist (talk) 10:39, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
- "World tour" needn't mean a concert tour though; in fact, the disambiguation page World Tour lists more sporting events than it does musical ones. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 12:11, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
- Delete as ambiguous with 2018 ATP World Tour, 2018 UCI World Tour among others. Iffy★Chat -- 12:51, 1 March 2018 (UTC)

- Keep all. The point presumably is that when it isn't possible to reproduce the umlaut diacritic it's sometimes replaced by an "e" following the letter in question. Obviously in the case of the heavy metal umlaut it would be incorrect to use an "e" in place of the umlaut, but redirects are not required to be correct. In this case there's a plausible point of confusion which the redirect can clarify for the reader, and no harm done by keeping these. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 14:08, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- The e rule generally only applies to German umlauts. But this isn't a real umlaut, and it isn't real German. It's a decorative umlaut with no meaning. Delete. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 00:06, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
- Delete per oe to ö precedents listed in Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2016 December 14 and that the metal umlauts are stylizations. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:34, 28 February 2018 (UTC)

- Zardu Hasselfrau → David Hasselhoff (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Term not mentioned in target article: no indication that this is a useful redirect. PamD 10:50, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
It's the character he played in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, a parody of himself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 53zodiac (talk • contribs) 13:25, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
- Retarget to Guardians of the Galaxy 2 then unless it's described in detail in the legacy section of David Hasselhoff's article. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:07, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
Done. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 53zodiac (talk • contribs) 20:28, 18 February 2018 (UTC)
PamD, do you have any further concerns about this redirect? If not, this can be procedural closed. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 01:45, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
- As far as I can see this term doesn't appear in new target article either, so still no evidence for its usefulness. PamD 06:55, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
- The article says "David Hasselhoff makes a cameo appearance as himself" with no mention of this alternative name. If it's sourceable, please will someone add it there with a source. PamD 09:07, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
Three sources added. 53zodiac (talk) 00:50, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
- He's credited as "The Form of David Hasselhoff", so the sources will have to provide the informal nickname if notable. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 02:24, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
He's cited as Zardu Hasselfrau in the Marvel wikia, and on IMDB — Preceding unsigned comment added by 53zodiac (talk • contribs) 18:03, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
- But neither of those is a WP:RS. "Hasselfrau" sounds like a Personal Attack, so it needs to be sourced properly before the redirect is OK. PamD 18:47, 24 February 2018 (UTC)
- It's a joke description in the film of how lead character Peter Quill envisions David Hasselhoff. Hasselhoff is not credited as such in the movie proper. He does appear in this "guise" in a music video from the film's soundtrack for an original song, but there really isn't a need to mention this name. As such, I think this redirect should be Deleted. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 19:33, 24 February 2018 (UTC)

- Delete. The term isn't mentioned in the current target, nor in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, so the reader is left none the wiser as to its meaning. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 14:10, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Retarget to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 per coverage such as [3]. Whether this is added to the article or not, the redirect sends readers to the content they're looking for, and someone could probably add that his character was mistakenly called this on-screen by one of the title characters based on this reference. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 19:12, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Retarget - His cameo appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, which includes using this silly stage name, is notable enough that it should be mentioned in there if it isn't already. I agree. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 15:13, 1 March 2018 (UTC)

Not mentioned in the target, so the reader is left none the wiser as to what Delphi Packard Electric Systems is or was, or how it relates or was related to Aptiv. There does appear to be an entity in existence today known as, or trading as, Delphi Packard (see for example this recent Romanian news article), but it's not clear whether that entity is, whether it's the same as or a part of Aptiv, or whether we have any encyclopaedic content relating to it. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 23:59, 8 February 2018 (UTC)

- Keep as subsidiary of Delphi Automotive Systems which points to Aptiv. [4] If there's a way to redirect it to that term without the double redirect kicking in, that would help. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 00:19, 22 February 2018 (UTC)

- Jiālín → Rosalind Chao (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ] Oiyarbepsy (talk) 03:17, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
I have no idea if these are correct Chinese names for these persons, but I lean towards no under the simple reasoning that neither person is Chinese, but American. Can someone who knows Chinese indicate if these redirects are valid? Oiyarbepsy (talk) 03:16, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Retarget Jiālín to Jialin. Not Rosalind Chao's name, but the name of many other people. Neutral between keeping & deleting Jiéfāng. In general I disagree that "the person is American" is a good rationale to delete a {{R from other language}} if the language has some reasonable connection to the person in question, but "other language + transcription + not full name" might be a bridge too far. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 04:45, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Comment based on the thousands of redirects created by Neelix I helped delete, and knowing no reason to think he is an expert on Chinese but knowing he made a lot of bad redirects, I don't see any reason to believe these ones are correct. Legacypac (talk) 07:46, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Comment I don't see any reason to conclude that Jiéfāng is incorrect. Sheryl WuDunn's article lists her Chinese name as 伍潔芳; Wǔ Jiéfāng, which is also the location of her Chinese Wikipedia article zh:伍潔芳 and listed as her Chinese name in numerous books and newspaper articles. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 07:58, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Note both of these are Neelix redirects. No comment on the validity of these in particular, but always useful to note that. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 16:46, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Retarget Jiālín to Jialin and Jiéfāng to Jiefang as R from diacritics or whatever you classify those pronunciation marks for Chinese. The marked version of the name is not strongly associated with any particular person. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 22:37, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Comment everything at Jiefang is Jiěfàng. Sheryl WuDunn is the only Jiéfāng in English Wikipedia. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 02:03, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
- But is she known mononymously, or not really? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 01:37, 9 March 2018 (UTC)
- Most {{R from given name}}s aren't for people who are known mononymously, but correct spellings should take precedence over incorrect spellings. Jiéfāng is a correct spelling of her name. Someone who's gone to the trouble of typing Jiéfāng (instead of just Jiefang) pretty clearly doesn't want Jiěfàng. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 04:02, 10 March 2018 (UTC)
- But is she known mononymously, or not really? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 01:37, 9 March 2018 (UTC)
- Comment everything at Jiefang is Jiěfàng. Sheryl WuDunn is the only Jiéfāng in English Wikipedia. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 02:03, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
- Retarget both per AngusWOOF. In the absence of any consensus as to whether the current targets are correct (or whether these people are ever known by a single name) the relevant dab page and given name page seem to be the most useful to the reader. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 20:41, 9 March 2018 (UTC)

This redirect doesn't make sense to me. I'm not sure if outright deletion is the answer, or if there is a suitable target. One possibility is Line of Control#Indian Line of Control fencing, and there seems to be a possibly notable road near Toronto [1]. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 02:48, 28 February 2018 (UTC)

- Delete both - much too vague to be useful as a redirect to the current target. I was going to say there's an Indian Line near Toronto but I see Oiyarbepsy's beaten me to it. The road itself is probably not notable, all that remains of it is a couple of disjointed service roads near Claireville Conservation Area and Pearson Airport. However it is mentioned in the history section at Ontario Highway 427, so perhaps that would be useful as a redirect. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 20:54, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
