Hmm, I feel like it would be good to have some better way of specifying that this is only the companies in the index with Wikipedia articles - otherwise "none" makes it sound like the index has no companies in that category. LittlePuppers (talk) 22:35, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
I think redlinks can be used to include potentially notable companies in those fields. — Frostly (talk) 03:55, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
Probably, and that's what was done a few sections up (S&P 400). That said, the one above has articles for just under 90% of the companies, while this looks like it would be closer to 30%. LittlePuppers (talk) 04:27, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
Firstly, I'm not sure there are any companies in the index that represent the telecoms sector - the section was included in case some are added in the future, but maybe it's best simply to remove it.
Secondly, I guess if this was actually a page with a list of the companies, we should think about including them all (better for them not to be linked). However, as this is a navbox, I don't see that it makes much sense to include companies or links if the pages don't exist. Further, there is no claim that navboxes are complete - however we are likely to find that once it is created, people start adding the remaining links, and even creating articles to fill in the gaps. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.15.214.198 (talk) 20:44, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
Come to think of it, the FTSE Fledgling Index doesn't have any telecoms companies either... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.15.214.198 (talk) 17:46, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
Also, I wouldn't sorry about it being "30%". Once it's created it can easily be added to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.15.214.198 (talk) 22:34, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
Please note updated source above to include more companies.

Templates trying to load Non existent portals

Please see Category:Portal templates with redlinked portals. There are large number of these resulting from YYYY type templates which are trying to load Portals which have been deleted - typically decades and countries I believe. I think an ifexists instruction within the template will resolve these. Template editing is beyond me so can anyone assist? Lyndaship (talk) 14:17, 17 February 2024 (UTC)

Thanks to User:Jonesey95 it's all resolved Lyndaship (talk) 16:39, 17 February 2024 (UTC)

A Falcon launches clone of Template:TLS-L and Template:TLS-M

SpaceX increasing launch cadence has changed the look of List of Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launches. So I need a clone of Template:TLS-M where I can point the month to first launch of the month or none if no launches in that month or to future launches if the launch is pending and is currently in future launches section. I need a clone of Template:TLS-L to list all the Falcon launches as [[F9-300|300]] that have id like "F9-300" so that users can navigate to a particular launch. All is for user viewership of this article. Thanks in advance......—🪦VSVNB1058 (2020-2023) (TALK) 03:27, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

Mind it this List of Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launches is a wikitable article, not a TLS navigational box so a problem. —🪦VSVNB1058 (2020-2023) (TALK) 03:29, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
I disagree that this is needed. Firstly nothing has "changed about the look of List of Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launches". The page is just as it's always been. Secondly TLS-M was not intended for the what you want it to use it for. It would make the current page even more busy than it currently is. Thirdly, it is already possible to link directly to missions on the page. Like so: List of Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launches#F9-300 Ergzay (talk) 11:57, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
I am asking this List of Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launches#F9-300 for readers and non editors. they can neither link nor have a dialog box like contents sidebar. —🪦VSVNB1058 (2020-2023) (TALK) 12:04, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
What do you mean by "dialog box like contents sidebar"? Ergzay (talk) 13:24, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
The three dots on left of page title at the top in destop view if its hidden by you or automatically hidden is contents sidebar. It's a guide to readers to navigate to sections, same will occur if we create a clone of TLS-L—🪦VSVNB1058 (2020-2023) (TALK) 13:33, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
Right, I'm still not understanding you. The table of contents is part of the article so it's not a sidebar, and the Falcon 9 list page has a table of contents in the article. So there's nothing readers are missing. Ergzay (talk) 14:16, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
I want a similar tool to help readers navigate to a particular launch id say 264, like they navigate to sections using table of contents. Clone of TLS-L will help —🪦VSVNB1058 (TALK) 15:23, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
I think you'll get pushback trying to include a table of every single launch like that in the wikipage. Ergzay (talk) 20:48, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
Oh then it will be bad —🪦NΛSΛ B1058 (TALK) 12:09, 25 March 2024 (UTC)

"Historical affiliations"

Historical affiliations

Would be similar to the blue box at Dunkirk#Corsair_base or Brussels#History, except it would be a template instead of a quote box.

    Here's an example of Brussels':

    Historical affiliations

    County of Leuven c. 1000–1183
    alt Duchy of Brabant 1183–1430
     Burgundian Netherlands 1430–1482

    Spanish Netherlands 1556–1714
     Austrian Netherlands 1714–1746
     Kingdom of France 1746–1749
     Austrian Netherlands 1749–1794
