I just came across the IP address doing some weird edits and checked their contributions and opened a can of worms. 86.5.176.46 has edited (and in some cases created) the userpages of all the accounts (examples: [1][2][3][4][5]). User:Simpsons (band) has also edited some of the other userpages. User:B&L Recordings has edited them as well. A connection to the original Harry (singer) account would be impossible, as that account performed no edits to Chipmunks-related topics. Instead, the connection must be shown to the confirmed socks of Harry (singer). One connection I found is that confirmed sock Sadagms, besides creating the usual hoax articles, also edited Busted and McBusted. Here, Sadagms and IP 82.25.11.240 made the same edit, adding Super Records.[13][14] Here, Sadagms and IP 82.25.11.240 both tried to say that the band was defunct.[15][16] The IP was deeply involved in Chipmunks-related topics, as can be seen here. The IP was discussed at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive914#Sock_keeps_creating_hoaxes and then blocked as a sock of Harry (singer). Previous to that, the IP was discussed at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive901#Suspicion_of_multiple_IPs_operating_on_behalf_of_blocked_IP and then blocked as a sock of Harry (singer).
Having established the IP 82.25.11.240 as Harry (singer), all we need to do to connect the dots is add that IP to the editor interaction utility to see a large commonality in editing interests between that IP and the ones listed above.[17] They make similar edits, too, for instance removing the suffix "Sr." or making it invisible to the reader by way of piped link.[18][19] Also.[20][21] I hope that helps. I just added IP 194.61.223.53 from Nottingham UK. This IP was active at Chipmunks-related articles, and recreated some previously deleted drafts.[41][42] Another Nottingham IP was previously blocked for the same stuff: Special:Contributions/82.25.11.240. Clerk note:: I believe Andresjrl97 is a sock and should be blocked, based on SummerPhD's evidence and the previously established behavioural connection via IPs (see the archive) to previously confirmed socks; however checkuser is not possible. The IP is registered to Nottingham City Council. I reviewed the IP's contribs and I see that they were making the same kind of edits up to May 31, but they are currently active and seem to have moved on to an entirely different topic area, so I think that the IP has been assigned to a different user. I'll leave it up to admin discretion whether to block the IP, but I'm inclined to leave it unless it returns to the master's behaviour. Ivanvector 🍁 (talk) 13:36, 5 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
